@@enzomartinez8083 Yes. Seasons 6 to 15 are absolutely terrible, and Eric Kipke left the show after Season 5, he has even explained numerous times that the season 5 finale is the true ending to the show as he wrote the story to only go for 5 years.
With all the tools, firearms, weapons, and tricks they carry around, you would expect after having to do this exact thing so many times that they would just start carrying syringes with them and drawing blood without causing a wound that will take weeks to fully heal (and in this case, from comfortably wielding aforementioned weapons or tools)
The blood would not work after a while. It would have be frozen and thawed when needed. It's not something you can store out at room temperature. And unless they have a freezer in their bag, it just wouldn't work.

I also liked the scene between Sam and John. How John said he couldn't believe his father put so much on his kids. A father is supposed to protect his kids. Sam finally forgave his father for the way he was raised.
Matt Cohen was a good choice to play young John. I can actually hear the similarities and even the slight lilt of his speech pattern. He sounds just like a young Jeffrey Dean Morgan.❤
I never understood why they cut their palm. When you do that you compromise your grip. It's much better to cut your forearm, still accessible but doesn't prevent you from fighting.
I was about to comment the same. They do this on every show. Use your calf or the outside of you arm or any place that won't hinder you if you need to fight! It's frustrating to watch, as it's purely for dramatics.
