it _does_ sound like a fight track, given the source material but it also sounds like a kind of melancholy; not quite confident, but not entirely hopeless either it's as if it were a track for an in-game training mode in which the kids could test out battle tactics and team synergies that said i would LOVE to hear a version of this in major key

i like this better then the FF7 sound font by far, im sure more sound fonts are coming but really try DK 64, mario 64. mabey some other psx games breath of fire 3, i would say chrono cross and also chrono trigger sound fonts. it would be interesting!
Balatro will never be my number 1 rougelike/rougelite, but I feel like it up there like 3rd place and is a really unique one, I haven't really seen any other game that similar tbh
I wish the rhythm part had a lower "attack" setting. It's so delayed and taking away from the precise rhythm that the original theme has. Which is an extreme shame cuz this is otherwise a masterpiece.
