The fact that such a thing is lowkey impossible to imagine early highlights how its not just technology that's advanced wildly in the last two decades, but game design too
The card back graphic is very Vista, which i don't have an issue with. Very good adaptation to something that would've come on some Shareware 1001 games in 1 CD.
Sounds like an early WaveTable card. What'd really take us back is piping it through an OPL2/OPL3 FM Midi-based sound card or emulator like the original Ad-Lib, SoundBlaster, SB16 - all OPL2 - or even the ProAudio Spectrum 16 w/ the OPL3 like I had back in the mid-1990s running Win95/98.
Would go crazy as a texture pack
There is a Balatro 95 texture pack.

Okay but if the cards bounced around the screen every time you beat a blind that would rock
if Microsoft bundled Balatro with Windows back in the day it would absolutely ruin the productivity of every office on the planet
It really is solitaire crack cocaine
balatro would have been the tetris of that generation.
@@swordslash8Balatro is the Tetris of THIS generation
Tech support be banning this one.
I'm getting Doom '93 vibes from listening to this, I guess some Balatro-related WAD is in order
That would go so hard
Can you imagine if Balatro was one of those old Windows XP classics?

I'll see your XP days and raise you the Microsoft Entertainment Pack from the Windows 3.1 days.
@@tsawy6 Yup, but still it's a wild thing to imagine, people looking at this and going "Ah yes, I remember playing that game in 2005"

Solitaire’s been training us for this game.
This is pretty cool . I would use this myself if it Was real..
boomers will see this and think "hell yeah". Hell yeah
hell yeah

Yeah. Hell, yeah.
i would SO play this version
...considering that I already have modded in "Windows" Jokers... would fit in.
god this would be so rad
ive never wanted a game demake so badly
Imagine the Jokers they would have during that time. Clippy is going to get immortalized if that was the case
Ante 3 with just Joker is insane
Great job
this is giving me an idea and potential side project
This is literally awesome
very cool! i wanna do my own take now too

@@Pyzzabox Thanks. I only noticed now.
I did not know I needed this so much until I received it.
Fucking A, man. Makes me feel nostalgic for when me and dad would game on his PC back then.
Mario, go fish!
ID LOVE, a windows 95 themed version of balatro!!!
banger!!!
this is the bomb
epic
Obsessed with this
This would be amazing in actual Balatro (music and skin)
pico 8 balatro
It looks like this was made in MS Paint. And that's a good thing
damn i thought it was a mod
Looks more like Windows 3.0 than 98 but I'm nitpicking this is still cool.
Do you have the actual midi? I want to listen to this using my SC-55 (I can also record it if you want)
I linked the maker of the midi in the description, and yeah id love to see it!
