We were about to go full UPR on my nephew's four-eye notch build, but I just had to give Baseline's 'Outlaw' adjustable geometry stuff a try - I ain't hatin' though, it's not like UPR isn't already proven good stuff!
I had a UPR K member, control arms and coilovers in my black Mustang. The engine sat crooked and the control arms didn't hold up for more than 10,000 miles. It now has full Maximum Motorsports suspension and hasn't had an issue. I sold it to a buddy of mine 7 years ago and he hasn't done anything else to it.
Jerry White all wheel drive dont count we are talking rear wheel drive. I can put a dana 44 and transfer case in a mustang and beat the fuck out of that and get 6.5 and rebuild every race just like that talon does

Well I'm not sure they're the "best", certainly not for drag racing. I agree they deliver the purest driving experience. I will always prefer a car with 3 pedals. It makes me feel like the car is an extension of me. It feels like I'm more connected with the driving experience and more in control.

The people who like to point out the small displacements like to ignore the DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, 10k+ rpm, and 65+psi of boost. The people that point to Mihovetz ignore that he is THE mod motor guru for drag racing; and has been pushing the envelope on them for over 20 years. He was the first with a mod into the 8s, 7s, 6s, and 5s. No one else is even close to his times with a mod motor. Can anyone name another mod motor that’s run 6s?

Not consistently faster, if leroy had a good clean pass on a track this well prepped he would be pulling similar times. Also leroy is still a work in progress lots of bugs still being worked out as they present themselves. Also lets be real leroy has no body panels lol if he did, he would definitely be deep 7’s
“Less cubic inches” only means something to the person with less cubic inches. They are often the ones who ignore the DOHCs and 4 valves per cylinder too. And let’s be honest... “less cubic inches” means very little when boost is involved.
Why this important for all y'all that don't get it... go top speed in your stick shift car without missing a gear in 7.7 seconds flat and without stripping gears or burning clutch on that much power. Best driver mod if I ever saw 1

Not consistently faster, if leroy had a good clean pass on a track this well prepped he would be pulling similar times. Also leroy is still a work in progress lots of bugs still being worked out as they present themselves.
Also lets be real leroy has no body panels lol if he did, he would definitely be deep 7’s
“Less cubic inches” only means something to the person with less cubic inches. They are often the ones who ignore the DOHCs and 4 valves per cylinder too.
And let’s be honest... “less cubic inches” means very little when boost is involved.
