Thanks for the video, my question is, I'm currently changing replacing a sram Eagle 12s pg 1230 11/50, would it be possible to go with say a sram Eagle 10/50 not quite sure on the exact model numbers sram 12s 1275 springs to mind, any how back to the question, do you think I'd run into problems or is this straight forward fit then dialing in the derailleur? Thanks 🚲 😊
PG1230 (NX) uses the Shimano HG style driver. GX and up level cassettes use the SRAM XD style driver. So no, it will not work unless you also replace your hub driver. All other stuff within the SRAM Eagle line is compatible.
huh, im replacing my casette and i wonder whether i really need the cassette tool to tighten anything? i thought i was good to go as the cassette is magnetic.
