I bought this back in 1979, and still have it, after Lady of Mars featured on the Friday Rock show with Tommy Vance, great days, and TV on the radio in FM stereo at 10pm was never missed, the opening music to this radio show was epic 🤯
A walk down memory lane for me, my band supported both Chevy and Dark Star when they toured in Scotland. The beginning of a great rock career for me personally. Thank you for posting this memorable album !
very underrated album. Bought it back in the day and still stands up well today. Metal today is more like the Urban street punk of Charged GBH, Discharge, The Exploited etc. While still good I always preferred the metal of early Maiden, Priest circa 78-82 and the blues infested Motorhead. Still I'm showing my age
Yea my son loves this stuff Lemmy at Hawkwind and Angelwitch and all that shit he's a good kid and my dad lol he's 81 now but he loved Black Sabbath lol - I guess it runs in the genes.
@@matthewtaylor6405 Sorry but Venom was never punk, they went down the Satanist road. They were the heaviest before Voivod who were the heaviest before Carcass and Carcass have never been beaten.
I imagine many fans of the first album were dissapointed with this as the bands have more in common with classic rock or prog' rock than the more punk infused stuff of the original.
Stormchild is the best metal track ever laid down. \m/

+theNWOBHMJUNKIE You sure know your metal, sir.
There are younger fans that are really into the classic stuff too.

Venom sounded like punk. Paul diannos punky vocals etc. That where the new wave came from. Atom punk van Halen.......

Great memories of the NWOBHM,some vastly under-rated bands featured on the mfm amd Muthas pride offerings.
To be honest I only bought it for the Trespass tracks. Some of the other tracks are reasonable though :)
I remember this well,
I bought this vinyl record from the Record Vault back in the 80s\m/⸸666⛧🎻🪕🎸🥁🤘👨🎤👩🎤🤟
thanks for posting this, having trouble finding the vinyl .....
I have all 3 on vinyl. All fab condition too.
The best two tracks are both by Trespass, they should have made it big.
Agreed!
I've got this on vinyl not heard it in years....good stuff I remember well
What about MFM 92. Sad it was only released in Japan
raw talent, would headbang if i had hair anymore
Wig out
Top ten worthy bands that didn't make it pick 2 or3 right here!!!
Trespass deserved a lot more
