I was off my tits so much back then I never really realised how much I miss this sort of thing now. That doesn't make any sense at all but you know exactly what I mean.
@@davidhaney1394 They were certainly highly rated during their time in the nineties, but now, unlike Oasis and Blur, they have largely become a forgotten band, sadly.
90's kids will be the most sentimental in a way, I mean they had the best time to grow up compared to what our parents had and what the youth of today have, imo
Still my favorite musical youtube video after all these years. These boys at the top of their game creating a utter wall of sound for a 3 piece. What a amazing show TFI was.You just didnt realise at the time, we were in a golden age for Uk bands. So much increadible talent around at the time.I miss those days so much.I just wish they would remaster all of the old recordings of TFI friday, and put them up somewhere to watch. Its a very important period of UK musical history.
Couldn't agree with this comment more. Spot on with everything you said here. Thank god I was in my 20's in the mid to late 90's. What a time to be alive!! Chris Evans loved these guys and wasn't bothered a bit when they continued playing. Loved the look simon gave Steve at the end, like 'what the f#&k you doing to me'? Fun times!
That remix part was just the best jamming out between friends that I've ever heard. They're all just excellent and play so very well together! I'm so very proud that they're Brummies too
One of the greatest bands I have ever heard. I have even been lucky enough in my life to see them live too! loved them from their beginning and I always will.
Steve Craddock slays it here but Oscar Harrison is an absolute beast on the drums. Seen them 6 or 7 times live and he always blew the place away with his drumming. What a band.
They were different league to all the other musicians around in the 90s. Like you I saw them live many times, just incredible. When they supported Oasis at Loch Lomond, they blew everyone else away.
@moscowguitarman Oh, I'm sorry, I`m just talking about presenter's English accent. Anyway, I also love their Mod's music and rock music from UK so much!
@moscowguitarman No such thing as an ‘English accent.’ He doesn’t put on a ‘North American accent’ either. Moreover, that doesn’t exist either. They’re from the Midlands. They don’t sing with any accent at all. Stop trolling.
First band I saw live when I was 12 at Power In The Park at Southampton common. I can't remember anything about it apart from pulling 2 birds during the set
Had a Triumph Dolomite sprint. Banged around blasting this out. Its still on the road. Mint today. In white, black roof. Big Laural leaf on the bonnet. I felt like super cool 😎 and been on the piss with the band.
@@nnr81074 In terms of creativity I would agree, but in terms of musicianship ie the ability to play your instrument, The Scene wiped the floor with Radiohead, the only other similar band from that period on a similar level would be The Roses.
Britpop at its best. Superb. Mid 70's New wave/punk was great but this was even better. Great energy and musical skill. We need something like this now in 2023/24 as music seems mostly drab and corporate in large parts. .
Underrated musicianship. Criminal really but what can you do? Cradock's name belongs up there with the likes of Butler, Coxon and Greenwood. Arguably the guitarist of his generation if you ask me, he's incredible.
Seeing Foxey now makes me sad. Just, you know, time, ageing. Seeing your heroes age is sad, and speaking of sad, he just looks really sad. I hope he's doing ok.
Seen him and Oscar perform last night at The Sage in Gateshead.... he sounded amazing and was in great spirits. Really interactive with using the audience.
I started working the doors in 97, great times, the best of my life! Slutty girls, great music in the late 90's , early 2000's, zero political correctness! Life was easy compared to today. And so were the girls ;-)! I feel sorry of the youth of today because they'll never have it as good as us!
I wouldn’t say OCS reminded me in many way of Led Zep.. but this could be something off of Physical Graffiti.. just my opinion.. Great Track and Great live rendition 🌞⭐️🌞⭐️🌞⭐️🌞⭐️
TFI Friday. What a time to be alive! Nothing to compare these days.
I was off my tits so much back then I never really realised how much I miss this sort of thing now. That doesn't make any sense at all but you know exactly what I mean.
When you watch the 90's shows like TFI and shooting stars you realise just how dead and mind numbing todays TV is.
agreed...TV is shite nowadays..
2:21 sounds literally like a bomb going off. Absolutely solid sound, brilliant
Bring back TFI, And while your at it, invent a time machine and take us back to the nineties.
one of the most underated bands in the world, rock on brothers !
I realize it's pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Jaxtyn Arturo i use FlixZone. You can find it on google :)
ugggh.,.....here we go again ,.....under-rated , my ass .HIGHY rated , HIGHLY admired and WELL loved.
Seen these 3 times in concert brilliant live
@@davidhaney1394 They were certainly highly rated during their time in the nineties, but now, unlike Oasis and Blur, they have largely become a forgotten band, sadly.
Cradock is the best British guitarist in the last 15 years!!! Great band
I saw him play lead, bass, hammond organ and drums in one OCS gig YEARS ago. God knows where. He's an amazingly talented musician.
Cradock - still my hero
He's the man!!!
Don’t be silly. John Squire from Stone Roses has that title
@@pbelsito4367he’s good but limited
Good old days. Used to watch this show every week. Lucky to be a teenager in the 90s
90's kids will be the most sentimental in a way, I mean they had the best time to grow up compared to what our parents had and what the youth of today have, imo
Don’t normally comment on vids but kin hell this group can play live. One of the best live bands ever.

4 piece including the singer, but I take your point!

Except for Sleeper. They can keep that at 240p.
21 years ago! Still hits the spot
.....how long ago. You just made me feel really old! Lol.
26 years ago already 😳
When they pause mid set (2.22) then start up again sounds like a small explosion going off....one of the best live performances ever 🔥SKILL🔥
When the guitarist is in the mood, let them play. Love it. what a performance
I can remember seeing this on Tv it’s still one of the best live performances on Tv IMO
imagine Chris Evans interviewing himself for 10 minutes then this banger comes on....LOL
What a time to be alive.
That drummer is a freight train.
Craddock has an immense talent in getting loads of different sounds of of his les Paul/Marshall. Great and underrated guitar player
He's so underrated that Weller chose him to play with him full time before Moseley Shoals.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
if paul weller puts you in his band you are not underrated at all
He’s not underrated in the slightest
Craddock is a machine.
Ocean Colour Machine
Monster
Great drummer he keeps it spot on
Wow! That is some live performance. Fantastic guitar sound too.

That's living in the moment right there! Love it ❤ awesome band, see them tunes in dunes next summer oioi 😮
Steve Craddock tearing it up. Such a talent.

Steve Craddock is a legend saw OCS in 95...great night, great band.
His solo stuff and night out is top notch,
One of the greatest bands I have ever heard. I have even been lucky enough in my life to see them live too! loved them from their beginning and I always will.
Still great 25 yr on, oh the nostalgia. 16 at the time, how time flies
This is absolutely amazing!! I have to give praise to the god of you tube for suggesting this to me....
Fire & Skill, indeed 👌
I got back into this band about 6 months ago and have had their greatest hits cd in my car on repeat for the last 6 months 👍
Steve Craddock slays it here but Oscar Harrison is an absolute beast on the drums. Seen them 6 or 7 times live and he always blew the place away with his drumming. What a band.
Amazing drummer

@barrystraughan2678 Moseley Shoals was a masterpiece. Marchin Already wasn't far behind.
We had some great live bands in the 90s
Wow, what a band. Superb man.
some performance , as the song goes , whatever happened to rock n roll , 90s had some great bands and guitarists
Lethal. Brings back great memories. Seen these guys live loads of times in Dublin. Always deadly
I was here, brilliant day out, met Mr Weller and all the lads from OCS. fab day

Remember watching this when it was broadcast back in 1997, knew it was pretty special then, still brilliant today ..
truly brilliant grat band from back in the day
Brum's finest.
Britain's most underated.
11/10
When Chris Evans was actually alright !!
OCS absolutely superb band , great great memories ❤
Never get tired of watching this
I wish the camera had stayed on craddock the whole song. He made that Gibson gold top sing and scream . The last 3 notes are amazing
I am just blown away
That's a lovely goldtop
I think that guy knows how to play guitar.
From Japan, I do love the English accent! Great years for Brit Pop!

JUST FECKING EPIC n the encore is a just a total double down if there was any a moment of doubt !!!!

One of THE great rock n roll lead guitarist performances (same when they did this on top of the pops) transfixed
Playd up here in the granite city recently to be honest they was good live first time
What a drum roll 😎
Great song
オーカッコイイですね~😆
Dam I find my self asking what happen to good music and times like this
Bollocks mate. Literally every generation says this, and literally every generation has good music. You’re just pining for your youth like most of us.
Best live band ever! Craddock is a legend!
Cradock on fire.
I love how Steve's got two full stacks, but only one cab out of the 4 is plugged in and mic'ed up! Lol!
''this is the remix you get this on the b-side i think'' haha
What a perfomance!!! So energetic, pure class.
A Brilliant live performance .

In terms of musicianship, the best British band of the period, anyone care to disagree?

Loved OCS, but for me it was the Steve Craddock band.
still the coolest drummer of all-time!
Underrated musicianship. Criminal really but what can you do? Cradock's name belongs up there with the likes of Butler, Coxon and Greenwood. Arguably the guitarist of his generation if you ask me, he's incredible.
He probably likes where he is in his own category. The man's a legend. 🎸
It's highly rated.
Great band and cool guitar player
Love it how Craddock gets a shitty look from Simon at the end, and Craddock just walks off like he’s the cock of the land. 😂 superb
Damn. this brings back memories.
Craddock was proving a point I think. Saying that he’s as important. What a genius he is. How to make a Gibson gold top cry.
Great great band. Saw them at reading River mead when I was 15. First gig. Ears still ringing....
Superb!
What a fucking band!!!
so UNDERRATED! fucking top!
Fantastic days he did have Top loader on about 6 weeks on the trot But TFI Friday was great while it lasted
this shit is why i play guitar
No drugs were consumed prior to this performance...
You seem to have commented on the wrong video XD
It was oasis who put these in the background.
I'll never forgive them.
This bane is so much better & plays more than 4 chords.🤪🤔✌️👍
cradock is on fire !!!
the guitar is just amazinggg
Willllllllllllll Lol, takes me back. Still see Wiiillllllll around Fulham now and again
