The 90's are to me what the 70's were to my dad
The whole guitar part in this song is superb
Cant get enough of these nostalgic TFI performances
Faultless! Still one of the only bands worth listening to in 2020
I played this song for my grade 8 drum exam over a decade ago. Still love it!
I had the haircut i loved the music in the 90s and still do. Long life Indie!
Streve's use of switching from bridge and neck pickups adds so much to this performance.
Jesus that’s one hell of a live performance 😍😍😍😍
Best band in the world!
Most underrated band of the time.
Too right chief
indeed my friend. 🖒🖒
timzp I fully agree.
Oh, no no no. Surely the most band-waggon hopping bunch of average joes. How did they change music? Shame on you! Try the Spencer Davis Group or Cream for starters...
he never said they changed music, he said they were underrated .....
OCS were such a great band with great songs and unbelievable live. This is such a great song.
I saw them live not long after this and they were absolutely flawless throughout. It was just after You’ve Got It Bad came out on single and one of the ‘b sides’ on the CD was Robin Hood which I immediately fell in love with. I didn’t think they’d play it at the gig, but at the end the band left the stage and the. Simon came back on alone with an acoustic guitar and did the most moving rendition of it. I’ll never forget it as long as I live.
It was only a small gig in an old venue called The Riverside in Newcastle that used to play host to artists on the brink of superstardom. It’s a travesty it’s not there anymore. Nirvana played there once. It should have been a protected historical landmark.
Remember watching this, was seminal 😎
Sounds brilliant live
Epic ✌🏼. I miss the 90s!
love this tune
I love this band
I bought this Album because of this performance you Krazy-Kidz...
Great song and performance
Amazing x
Great Live!
Amazing 👏 remember watching this . ...all of us like wowww I just turned 25....what a decade
Julia Chang was in the studio audience that night
Oh the memories.
Sheer class.
Almost Tfi theme now lol x
QUALITY!
Their best song.
This was an awesome Modernist moment. Pow!! Fucking awesome 🎉❤❤
Holy Shit!!! Remembered this was a good riff but fuck me! Like Spencer Davis Group / Traffic / Small Faces. That good!!!
Try Led Zep
My
Life
Saw them in tiny club in Spain in maybe 97/98 I think, mind blowing.....just look where craddock and minchella ended up.
Where did they end up?
@@miko1975guitar Really? Playing the Hydro Arena is "playing a pub" is it? Off you f**k, spineless jelly.
❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌
Strange to think tupac was fighting for his life in hospital during this day after being shot on the 7th
Why is it strange? Random.
@@Monika-cd5fi
Tupac was bigger than the universe
Wake up
@@danbruno5945 stil don't get what that's got to do with this performance
@@Monika-cd5fi
I think you are too shallow and not deep enough maybe ,7 people got it.
If someone's death hit you hard for e.g 1st April 2022 and you looked back at a unrelated music concert on TV 20 years from now you would look at the date and think omg my friend was just dying around then
@@danbruno5945 i suppose you see it differently to what I do. It's not like this performance is such a significant moment in history.
This show was brodacasted on the 13th of September 1996. So, you need to change the date.
I'm a bit of slimy unfertalised spunk and love listening to these guys
Tunnneeee
Craddock on smoke
Simons got a great voice 👌. Better than Liam Gallagher. The songs OCC produce excel with Simon as a front man. A top top band.
It starts at 0:07
It ends at 03:13
You're welcome
Still convinced they nicked that riff from somewhere as its just to good.
It’s kind of similar to a zeppelin tune , can’t think of the name … moby dick maybe ? 🤔
Steve admitted he did nick it from Led Zep. No big story here, so stop trying to sound clever, OK champ?
four sticks Led Zeppelin anyone?
Jonathan Neil I guess is the same that the Small Faces thought about their song YOU NEED LOVING when, a couple of years later, they heard Zeppelin's WHOLE LOTTA LOVE. Willie Dixon might say the same about the Small Faces... what's the point man? when after all there are plenty of songs that sound similar, even if they've ripped off completely from another one. I like this song, I like Zeppelin's FOUR STICKS.
No.
As an Oasis fan - I've heard worse "borrows" :P
A great time to be a teenager. This song is both incredible and yet incredibly overrated. But it takes me right back.
I've probably posted this before loads of times and forgot, but Ginger bollocks deserves alot respect.
Learn to type, you illiterate gammon.
Noel Gallagher wasnt wrong.
Actually, he was. Miles wrong. There were tons of great bands around at the time. The last great generation for music.
In the early 1990s, Simon came across as an affected, fey twit. But by this time, he had grown into a really likeable good bloke. Dunno what brought about the transformation, but well done to him. Fine singer, excellent front man for an excellent band.
But you're still the same, jealous prick you always were.
Be quiet, you homophobe.
bass players always be the most nonchalant mofos
Wunderhorse - Leader of the Pack.
The closest to this in 2022.
You’re welcome.
Great recommendation. Thanks, Luke. Very much in the OCS vein. Will listen to more of their stuff. Thanks for the suggestion. All the best.
Do shut up.
