I was also there. I remember the evening before, I had just arrived from Lowestoft and looking for somewhere to stay the night. Ended up at the YMCA nearby. Went to venue to check it out and stood outside with others listening to New Order soundchecking 'Bizarre Love Triangle'. Brilliant day.
