Getting myself out of the box, I bought all three balms. But I bought the natural the rose and the tawny. I do not have the bronze. I then bought the pencils. With some practice this is fantastic! I know how much I need and where. The process gets faster and quicker. Love it
Reading reviews straight from Jones Road it seems like a lot of women may not be breaking the seal correctly? So many negative comments. Also, have you tried the other miracle balm color called Magic Hour? One reviewer said it gave her no color, only glitter. I’m still on the fence as to which color I’ll be trying. My complexion has yellow tones and I’m a light-medium. Thanks for your page and these great reviews.
Hey!! Yes, you have to press down on the top of the balm to break the seal. The pigment lies under the top layer. Yes! Miracle Balm is a beautiful highlight Balm. It has shimmer in it, gold and silver, I don't recommend it for all over the face. It's best on the highpoints of the face (cheekbone, brow bone, bridge of nose) eyes and lips❤
I’m dying to order my first Jones Road MB. I’ve seen many videos and you have beautiful skin. I know this was a couple of years ago but I really would have loved to have seen the Tawny on your cheek all by itself instead of on top of the Bronzer and generally swatches are done on the back side of the forearm. The back of the hands tend be dryer with more texture and you could see your vein colours underneath as well. Just my two cents. Thanks so much!

i enjoy using a brush to apply Miracle Balm. so far Mac foundation brush 170 is working well for me. i get a more even application with it. it gives such a beautiful healthy glow.

When I use a brush with my oil based foundations they make my brush not work well after one use so I now use my hands. Did you set your foundation with powder before putting on the miracle balm? I always need to set my makeup in order for it to stay and I’m afraid this will lift the foundation or not work well with powders
Hey! I didn't set my foundation (I am on the dry side). You can lightly set these with some powder. I recommend applying it in Light layers tapping on to the skin. This will prevent lifting

What about mixing the desert rose with one of the darker ones specifically the reddish one, in an attempt to lighten up the darker one a little with a cool shade and cut down on the shine of the desert rose. Or is Desert Rose not always highlight shiny & it just depends on how much you iayer on?

Hey! So Tawny pulls a little more red than Buruti Bronzer. The Miracle Balms have a more dewy finish than the RMS Bronzers. I see what you mean when you say they're similar. Are you on IG? I can send you a photo...or post one here in the community tab
I’m trying to figure out what in the heck the magic balm actually is. The website doesn’t explain it very well. So, it’s basically just a blush and/or highlight. Right? I have rosacea and the website said something about the bronze covering redness but I would look ridiculous with that color all over my face where the redness occurs.
Hey, so magic hour is a highlighter. This product can be a blush, bronzer or highlighter depending on the shade. For example, Dusty Rose can be a blush when layered to thr cheeks and highlighter If sheered out. Bronze can help tone down redness on the cheek, but I typically follow up with concealer.

Hey! The balms are pretty emollient but that's what gives that gorgeous glow. You could try layering lightly and setting with a little powder. Bronze is beautiful 🌟

Hi! Loved your video, i just biught dusty rose but cant really see much of a color payoff on my skin.. and my concealer broke down… not sure if im doing it wrong.. it still feels tacky after a couple of hours! Any suggestions
Hey! So, for color payoff you really have to break the seal. The color is underneath. Are you using it as blush? I wouldn't bring it up to the concealer under eye area. The balm does not try down so it always kinda has that balm texture. You may need to use less when applying. Try breaking the seal and applying the inside. Let me know if you still have any issues. Hey! So, i think it will be great even for oily skin. I'd just recommend setting areas like arohnd thennose and chin. I dont wear mac but I can tell you I'm shade #33 in RMS (thats like my perfecr match) Natural Beige in the Flower Beauty serum foundation...those are my like spot shades. I would say it is long lasting on me, I didn't have an issue with it fading. It stays glowy all day too 😊💕

Do you find that they break down your foundation under them? I find that while I love the look of the more emollient blushes(like Josie Maran face sticks and Tower 28), my foundation won't last under them. I have all 3 shades in my shopping cart and I just can't decide if its worth it for someone like me that always needs at least a light layer of foundation.
Hey! No not at all! I'm like you I do a light to mediun layer of foundation. It stayed on all day and remains glowly too. I use a tapping motion when I apply it, like in the video. I didn't find that it disappeared and left my skin very soft too. 💕

What color if you already have red cheeks? I mean they get toned down with foundation, but they’re still there because I don’t wear a ton of foundation. I love the color of tawny but I’m worried it’s too red.

I have fair skin pretty neutral undertone. I just have these rosy red cheeks especially when I’m warm. I’m not really drawn to pinks especially not really cool pinks. I mostly stick with peachy pinks. I know these are pretty sheer though so dusty rose may be fine. I went ahead and ordered tawny today since it came back in stock for who knows how long. So we’ll see 😊

@@theredderthebetter1 hey! Honestly, I just used my Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. Its a cream that when you rub together is almost like an oil and gently rubbed it off. For me it came off easy and didnt leave racoon eyes. Some super black mascara take a while to come off. It was pretty easy for me. 😊

hey! Yes, it really depends on the skin. I am dry so I dont feel it really sticky. Also application is really important. I scoop then warm it up on the back of my hand then apply in light layers.

@@shweta9978 its a very interesting consistency. Its definitely not greasy but leaves a glow i think its because the pigments on it. I get oily in my t zone and i found that it wore nicely. Maybe a hint extra glowy on my nose but I really like it 😊 tawny is soooo beautiful!!!
Last question------ does the highlight effect of the Desert Rose or of any of the 3 of them reveal or accentuate pores or Texture? I'm going to get a darker one of the desertRose does that, so don't worry you won't discourage me from purchasing it.
Hey! These dont accentuate texture. I like these a lot. A little goes a long way too. If your fair to medium skintone, Dusty Rose will give you a beautiful glow

Do you find that they break down your foundation under them? I find that while I love the look of the more emollient blushes(like Josie Maran face sticks and Tower 28), my foundation won't last under them. I have all 3 shades in my shopping cart and I just can't decide if its worth it for someone like me that always needs at least a light layer of foundation.
Hey! No not at all! I'm like you I do a light to mediun layer of foundation. It stayed on all day and remains glowly too. I use a tapping motion when I apply it, like in the video. I didn't find that it disappeared and left my skin very soft too. 💕
I use the Bareminerals tinted hydration gel cream as my foundation, it’s lighter and more natural and works well with these balms

I have fair skin pretty neutral undertone. I just have these rosy red cheeks especially when I’m warm. I’m not really drawn to pinks especially not really cool pinks. I mostly stick with peachy pinks. I know these are pretty sheer though so dusty rose may be fine. I went ahead and ordered tawny today since it came back in stock for who knows how long. So we’ll see 😊

@@theredderthebetter1 hey! Honestly, I just used my Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. Its a cream that when you rub together is almost like an oil and gently rubbed it off. For me it came off easy and didnt leave racoon eyes. Some super black mascara take a while to come off. It was pretty easy for me. 😊

Hey! Hmm it doesn't dry down completely. It's not super tacky...I think balmy is the best way to describe it. A little goes a long way. Of your on the dry side its less tacky. You'll be glowy all day💕

hey! Yes, it really depends on the skin. I am dry so I dont feel it really sticky. Also application is really important. I scoop then warm it up on the back of my hand then apply in light layers.

Make this as your moisturizer if you are oily. Or you can use your normal moisturizer but avoid your cheeks and nose if you use this product.
