Admittedly, it's a different world now... Back then an "artist" would succeed regardless of how they looked etc. Nowadays it's more about the image (there are exceptions, my opinion is generalised)

This keeps disappearing from my favourites every time I add it. I've had to re-add this multiple times so far. Read the comments and saw a new version got released on Spotify. Decided to listen to it and no, it's nowhere near as good as this one. This track sounds so powerful which makes it the superior version by far. The new version lacks that power.
