i am trying my best to put up some money just to watch the full series, its kinda hard for students from a 3rd world country to join and register for payment websites but for YOU medicosis its worth it.
…see the reason listeners enjoy this series so much , is that the information is presented by a ‘teacher’…many of us who went to university, were taught by professors who had scientific knowledge, but no ability to teach their subject…
Woooow, thank you so much. Was literally thought this a few days a ago. Keep going hard. Hope you reach a million subs You are more than deserving of that ❤
Thank you so much. I love the Tic Tac Toe of ABGs. I did all three methods, I can actually see patterns now, its not perfect but its so much better. I can't wait to do part II for mixed metabolism/respiratory disorders. Thank you so much. I am signing up for your course. Cheers!
Further on, the MAIN stimulus in the respiratory center for breathing (in normal conditions) is the PaCO2 (hence PH). In HyperCapnic states like COPD, the respiratory center "adapts" to the high CO2 and PaO2 becomes the new main stimulus.
Omg, I cannot believe you hearted my comm and you did that so fast! Thank you so much for making medicine understandable. Even though I don't have lots of money, for me, your acid base course is something of great value. I bought it and I love it. Thank you so much for making my dream of having well made med courses come true! PS same person but that is my medicine university institutionalised Google account :))
Maybe Im dumb and I havent seen it, but do you have a course to buy for clinical urine tests? Like, with explenations for when pH is high what can be the cause and vice-versa, when pH is low, when there is glucose what metabolic issue there might be, etc. I had an exam last year based on that, but my professor gave me just some random info, and i just had to regurgitate it for the exam, and now I feel like I know nothing and I feel horrible I passed the exam of reading a urine clinical test but I dont actually know how to read it properly. If you didnt made it already, Im patiently waiting for it. Forever grateful!
I have a course on Acid-base in general, not about urine chemistry in particular. My course talks about most causes of acidosis (including DKA, alcoholism, renal failure, toxicities, RTA,…etc) and alkalosis. It also discusses the osmolar gap, urine anion gap, serum anion gap, and much more. The course is available on: www.medicosisperfectionalis.com/
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis what's the order of symptoms for acidosis, how does it present? How do you know if the patient is going to see God, or going to recover?
hmm, seems overly simplified and focused on mnemonics at the cost of actual understanding. Must be difficult for doctors to deal appropriately with situations if that is how they cope with school.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Fair point, I did enjoy your video and in hindsight I can see how it's needed to compact the amount of material a student has to grapple with and your videos do it so well! But even so I cannot help but think of my own doctor and how her conversational style seems oddly detached from normal intellectual process and instead anchored in something that can come off as rushed mnemonics.

I couldn’t agree more!
"The reason why doctors went to medical school is because they suck at math" LOL
Facts!
Can confirm. Math sucks
