Loved the WG as a kid. I can still remember the faintly actinic smell of the small two level amusement park they had in there, just big enough for a small Dodgem circuit. If it was pissing down (not unheard of in Lancashire!) and you couldn't get to the Pleasure Beach, that was one of the go to alternatives. The indoor amusement parks and small casino

@@Bhh2 No I don't remember the Submarine, I'm presuming it was a coin operated Lotus? The WG had a high turnover of film tie in rides, it was seasonal with some things showing up and vanishing in a year. Unlike the Dr Who exhibition, which was there for year after year... Always nice to see the Bessie outside, though!
