Thanks for the review Stephen! I am glad Nokta came out with the Findx and Findx Pro! Like you said, people can get into the Hobby with an inexpensive, yet quality made detector! God bless!
I totally understand. I don’t either, now that we have been spoiled with Bluetooth ones. The good thing is that the detector has a great on-board speaker.
Looks like a great machine for the price. It would be great for anyone who is just starting out detecting and helps to avoid spending big money on a machine that's to advance and which would frustrate new detectorists 👍
As always great video. Do you have a patreon page. ? I'd definitely contribute. Been wondering how findx worked. I might pick up a pro version. Glad yours started paying for itself already!
Thanks for the support. I do not have a Patreon. Just the UA-cam channel. I appreciate that. The FindX is impressive for the amount of money it costs! And yes, it won’t take long for it to pay for itself. That’s for sure. Thanks for watching
Friend, how deep can this device detect? I'm sorry if you said that in the video. I'm from Brazil and I don't speak English. As it is now arriving in my country, there is no video talking about it. Is it really worth buying? Grateful!
Great question on the air test. There is another video another person uploaded with the air test. I decided not to copy their video by conducting the same test. Here is the link. ua-cam.com/video/PcUy6sVSjR0/v-deo.htmlsi=WTcHtgaFDBC9vEe-
Buenas noches hablo desde Colombia medellín yo compré el FINDXPRO el mío me Yego el viernes pero el manual es en ingles la verdad no lo en tiendo alguien me podría explicar como es el manejo muchas gracias
Great question. I have not done a thorough test to give me an accurate depth. But, the one coin was 4 inches down in that dry soil. And it was still a loud tone, which tells me it could have picked it up deeper. I have had three people request a depth test of this machine, so my plan is to complete that test over the weekend and release a video of the results in the next week or so.
Great question. My first detector was an Ace 250 about 10 years ago. I would say the Ace may pick up a tad bit deeper. One thing the FindX Pro has that the Ace detectors don’t is waterproofness.
@EB-ck8zg I’m not sure about the 150. I would say its depth and this one are very similar. But yes you should consider the Simplex units. They are also waterproof to 16 feet and are great detectors. Much more depth too. I have found coins near one foot deep with the simplex.
@@southernrelics I have the original Simplex+ that I got in 2020. I'm wanting a spare for my daughter and buddies to go with me. How do the new Simplex units compare to the original Simplex +?
Just about any metal detector on Amazon that has a weird company name (SUNPOW, D.R. OTEK, Sakobs, Ommo and the no-names). I wouldn’t waste my money on them.
Im going to go out on a limb and say that you may not have watched the entire video. About half way through the hunt, I removed them so everyone could hear the detector. There are more videos coming out soon where I have used the FindX without headphones.
Yeh but how deep will it go? How does it stack up against the Manticore? And can you play 'War Thunder' or get Face-Book on it? Only jokin' Stephen😊😉. Though I bet some dinks will ask those questions and mean them😵💫; Praps not the 'War Thunder'/FB bit... Sensibly now: I like the cut of this machine. It'd be a great "stepping- stone" for youngsters out-growing the Midi , or teens wanting to take a first cut at metal detecting; ATB man and "Thank you"..
There is one video out there, but I did view it again today and it is of UK coins. Since it’s requested, I’ll work on filming one this weekend and getting it out there in the next week or so.
@@mszat I am a brand rep for Nokta, and that’s what I try to do for anyone who has questions about their detector. Especially those who are new to the hobby. How deep were you getting the machine to pick up a target in Park mode?
@@mszat yeah, there’s definitely something wrong with it. I’ve been out with the FindX a few times now, and I did pick up a silver quarter at 6 inches down in red clay.
What a great company to do something like that. I’m glad I bought my Legend Pro kit, they deserve the business.
I just got mine yesterday. Taking it for a spin on Monday :)
Awesome! When we get more rain and the ground is soft again, I’ll take it out.
Ese equipo tiene una amplia similitud al Simplex+, saludos amigo.

Yeah this is gonna be a great option for that.
Thank You for the information 👍😊.

I just released a full review video of the findx pro. I know what you mean about the cheap Chinese detectors!
Thanks for vid.
You bet
Nice review sir. Definitely a nice entry level machine. Good price point. Certainly a good choice if your kids wanted to join you on digs.
Oh yes!
Looks like a good starter but the price is really nice.
Sweet! Looks like a nice machine for the price.
Yeah it’s gonna be a good one for those curious about the hobby but don’t want to spend a fortune.
Thank you Stephen for the information on this detector ! But I know care much about headsets that is wired !

Absolutely.
Seems like a good entry level detector
Oh yes!
nice to see another entry level machine for the wary ppl sayin "do I really want to do this hobby". Nokta products are great!! can't go wrong! HH
Very true.

Got one as a backup for the Legend.

It’s a very capable detector. I did some further testing with it the other day and it was detecting a silver coin 6 inches down. It’s worth it.
Hi guys,,you done some air tests yet,,how deep or long is the usual stuff ,?
Great question on the air test. There is another video another person uploaded with the air test. I decided not to copy their video by conducting the same test. Here is the link.

The FindX ( Pro ) is fully water proof up to 15 feet deep
👍🏼
Will it kick the quest X10,,,or X5 or what,,these are monster stuff without the weight ,?
The weight is 2.6 lbs. as for the other detectors in comparison, I’m not sure. I’ve never put my hands on either of those.
Buenas noches hablo desde Colombia medellín yo compré el FINDXPRO el mío me Yego el viernes pero el manual es en ingles la verdad no lo en tiendo alguien me podría explicar como es el manejo muchas gracias
Can you tell me the coin numbers like 90 a quarter
Yes.
Quarter 90-91
Dime 78-80
Copper penny - 76-79
Zinc penny - in the mid 60’s
Nickel - 30-32
What's the max depth it detects?
Great question. I have not done a thorough test to give me an accurate depth. But, the one coin was 4 inches down in that dry soil. And it was still a loud tone, which tells me it could have picked it up deeper.

Wondering how you'd compare this to a Garrett Ace 150?

One thing the FindX Pro has that the Ace detectors don’t is waterproofness.
@@southernrelics Wow. So you're saying a ten year old Garrett will go deeper than this. Maybe I should consider the base model Simplex then?

Which Amazon detectors are you referencing as bad?

No bluetooth?
Keep in mind this is an entry level metal detector.
If you desire a Nokta detector with Bluetooth, you will have to get the Nokta Simplex BT.
Should have done the review without the headphones so people could hear the tones on the machine
Im going to go out on a limb and say that you may not have watched the entire video. About half way through the hunt, I removed them so everyone could hear the detector.

Correct , I only watched about half of the video because I couldn't hear the tones , sound good I will check out your upcoming videos on it , Thanks
Is it lite
It is actually a slight bit lighter than the simplex lite
