  • I do my ID check/tests of a variety of silver objects and a gold ring. I did a first run on an area today, but I only came back with pull tabs but it was a much pounded area. I am going to take it to a place I haven't yet hit with most of my detecting arsenal

Hey Tiger I miss your metal detecting videos. Do you think you'll get back to doing metal detecting some day?

Should not dig if it hits a 2 even if it also hits a 4 or any other number with it? I used to dig them but I stopped because it was always Aluminum

hey Tiger. tesoro cibola or Fisher f44? that is the question. Looking for my first upgrade from my compadre 8 inch that I won't sell. .. lol What Ya think? I love my tesoro's but these fishers reallycount my eye. looking for depth and power. but all those bells and whistles on the new fishers..hmmm? never had a video screen on my detector.
    thanks tiger.

+Mark Hagopian I have had an Fisher F5 a CZ3D, and an F19...they are great machines... in fact the F19 is the best nickel machine I have ever had...not that...that is particularly impressive, but it does show some unusual accuracy. I am not a big fan of the Fisher F22...and one another person I respected was not overly fond of the Fisher F44... in my opinion the F22 I used was not snappy and definitive in its sound...I like a machine that tells me the object under my coil is or is not coin sized and I never got that feeling with it... the F44 is very similar I have heard but I won't make a definite statement on that though check out Dirtfishing's review of it. The older Fisher's I like or love in every instance. But the F44 might just fit you better than it fit me. I do like the Teknetics Eurotek Pro also a First Texas Company (Fisher, Bounty Hunter, etc) and it looks very similar to the new Fisher 22 an 44

+TexasTiger. Digs, this is what I kinda thought. The f44 has lots of bells, whistles, and stuff. But I have a feeling the cibola is going to act more like a more professional tool. I love that new black dd cibola, and have wanted it for months. But just feeling a little hesitant about pulling the trigger. Not certain if the cibola is powerful enough. I see good reviews and poor ones.
