If you like Emperor you should check out Ulver's album Bergtatt: Et Eeventyr i 5 Capitler. I'd also recommend (maybe for offline listening since they are unfortunately nsbm) Totale Vernictung's album Ritualmordlegenden and Rostorchester's album Die Sonne und der Mond in Ketten.
For Blaze I like the UA-cam fan remaster more than the original. The vocals are more in the background and the bass is enhanced as well as guitars. I'm an heretic I guess. Still my favorite DT album.
What's impressive about Emperor is that they were 16-17 when they wrote I Am the Black Wizards. The Norwegian Black Metal musicians were all 15-25 in the early days.
It’s lo-fi on purpose, one of the few reasons black metal was created is because death metal was becoming too mainstream and polished, so they went for a more primitive, simple, and low production sound, that’s why solos aren’t as grand and sparse. Also it seems you like the slower riffs more instead of the tremolo picked ones, so I would recommend darkthrone panzerfasut, if you feel like revisiting darkthrone it’s like 80% down picking.
@@occhio2377 Okay! Well yes varg has some anti semetic thoughts but hes not really a nazi. He says he is more a "neopagan" that believes in yk gods like odin, thor and norse gods but yes you are kinda right.
in regards to black metal, you will get a more views if you react to a gorgoroth live concert. also some easy black metal songs to get into the somberlain, mother north, where dead angels lie, withstand the fall of time
From Mayhem you should listen to "The Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" album. Some other recomendations: Satyricon - The Shadowthrone. This one is not 100% black metal but maybe 90%: Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane. This one is newer compared to the mentioned albums but it's pretty good: Mgla - Exercises in Futility. I could recommend you many more but maybe those are ok if you haven't listening to black metal before. Metal is like beers. At first you goes with a simple and common Lager light beers (Metallica, Iron Maiden) it's almost impossible to start with a stronger beer like IPAs or Stouts (Black, Death metal), you wont appreciate them at all, and inside each subgenre there different levels too of bitterness, rawness and coldness
OH SHIT am I the comment you're talking about? On your System Of A Down reaction to Revenga? Imma send you a link on insta, I made a beat of the riff you liked at 11:45 haha
Kathaarian life code is one of my favorites of all time
This reaction was a while ago, I need to listen again, its dope
@@occhio2377hell yeah man! Check out the panzerfaust album if you already haven’t!
The lyrics are about one thing and one thing only, as the drummer Fenriz so eloquently put it in an interview once.....SATAAAAAAANN!!

Ulver first and third albums and Peste noire is probably the best nsbm band for beginners to digest
You should def check out Darkthrones next album Under A Funeral Moon first!! One of the best black metal albums in my opinion
I shall do the unholy trinity 👁
The loud ass dry vocals make the album unlistenable for me
Understandable, but i feel like it adds some extra coldness to the production

This reminds me of the 101 Rules of Black Metal from 20 years ago. "Own every Darkthrone album. Listen to exactly none of them"
lol

Absolutely insane, they made timeless shit at such a young age.

you should definitely check out atmospheric black metal bands like Caladan Brood or even Eldamar. I'm sure you'll like it!
Awesome, I'm starting to get into that mood. 😁
you should check out burzum's debut album called "burzum" my favorite black metal album of all time!
I have heard one Burzum song, it was pretty. I'll check em out, even tho Varg is a Nazi

It's okay to like his music, and still recognize that HE IS a white supremacist and a Nazi.
I recomend "F.O.A.D" from Darkthrone, its a Punk/Black Metal Album
I'll add it to the list
Extremely underappreciated album! It's soooo good
I forgot to edit the Insta QR Code again...........................
They got a lot of their sound from a band named Celtic Frost which is a band that sounds like a more heavy Motörhead with a satanic spin on it
Celtic Frost fans will forever fail to cope with the fact that CF isn’t Black Metal 😞
@@thedopaminestop2355 never said they were bozo
