Awwwww the shoutout 🥺💖💕And bro the dual wielding monkey flying at you at 35:40 was so funny and unexpected!! 😂😂 The chicken at the end knocking you down to your death too! Who knew animals were so brutal in Japan?? 🐒🐔🐍
Easy strat for the boss you don't want to do. The little guys can be jumped on for a deathblow. It works even when they see you. If you kill the little guys like that first and than leave until the big guy forgets you (jump up to the beams and leave the building). Than come back for the death blow. Deflect his attacks and he will be out of posture in no time.
for the second ape, i use the chasing slide skill you can learn in the prosthetic arts skill tree, it enable a charge attack after throwing a suriken, if the charge hit the second ape, it will stun her instantly
I nearly quit the game when I realized that I had to fight two apes at once, so I understand the dread this fight inspired. It was so sad that it's mate fought side by side with it even after it was infected. They were willing to protect each other no matter what. It was romantic and sad at the same time (as romance tends to be). These games have a way of pulling at your heartstrings. Congrats on the victory :)
35:40 that wa pretty cool. I actually enjoyed the double ape fight on my 1st playthrough beating them with 1 try. Other playthroughs though, I hate it and i skip it 😂. The Long arm Centipede is a deflect test so u wanna focus on quick consecutive deflects and stomping on its head whenever it does a sweep. Do those things it should be done fairly quickly. There's a few things that ull wanna do with regards to dialogue with Emma and also the Divine Child but I think u said ur moderator is helping u with that as this message is long already. Anyway, good video as per usual.
You are bulldozing your way through this! You are doing very good😁😁 PS. The death at the end, with the chicken kicking you down so the other one could kill you with a sword, I laughed😂🙈
32:05 If you want to fight that Centipede miniboss in Senpou Temple you should first clear out all the minions surrounding it. Don't forget that you can go in, kill some and then run away to calm them down again. You already have seen that you can take one deathblow by stealth. For the actual fight, don't hit him and don't move (much). Just deflect. Since this boss attacks you so much, with deflections you can destroy his posture rather fast. You only have to jump when the Kanji symbol appears to avoid his sweep attack. You have a rather good reaction and in many of the other fights your deflections are pretty good, so you just have to trust yourself. 😃 And BTW: You should stop dodging so much. This is a remnant from your Dark Souls playing, but it doesn't work here, and in fact, must of the time it even hurts you more than it helps. Rely on parry, jumping and running. Doding works in some cases, but it's not as universal useful as in the other Soulsgames.
Welp, that does indeed look pretty annoying, wish me luck, hopefully I learned something by watching first =P Shoutouts to Dusa! She's super gangster! It's interesting how the game areas change as you progress seems pretty unique to this game (mostly) Also, when going from the first snake eyes poison swamp area into the monkey boss arena, look up 😜
this was fun as always💯 don't know how u manage to get out of the toughest situations so smoothly hhhhhhhh😸 *u missed something in Sunken Valley, from Under Shrine Valley Idol turn around and jump, there is two rifleman and some climb and shimmy on ur way✌ Good luck in the new area u will need it😹💞
Sekiro and its monkeys, I swear 😂 Regarding the centipede mini boss, I'm gonna try to list some tips in order and as methodically as possible so it's easier for you ❤ I hope it helps. 1) Kill the little ones that are on the beams first. 2) Do stealth kills for the others. Go back up after each kill so you don't get hit. 3) When all the small ones are dealt with, make the big one forget about you (stay on the beams for a bit, leave the room...) so you can get the first death blow for free. 4) Get ready to deflect super quickly, a bit like the mini boss before Genichiro, except this time, it's more rhythmic. Maybe watch a video of the fight before so you can count and memorize the deflect sounds, almost like a song. 5) When the boss is getting ready to do its sweep attack, when the red symbol appears, just say/count "ONE" and press jump so you land on its head and do posture damage. 6) Rinse and repeat a couple of times, it should be done in a minute!
@mmeiruplays You're very welcome, dear! You can do it 🔥 And you feel like you can't, hey, it's all good. It might be an unpopular opinion but I don't think you need the max HP and posture bar to beat the game on your first playthrough. I couldn't get all the prayer beads, for spoiler-y reasons, and I did just fine so I'm sure you will as well ❤️
Mmei, you were raging! But you didn't give up. I enjoyed the Ape duo fight, my favorite dual boss since Ornstein and Smough. When you use sugar, if you eat two, the second will cancel the first. As for how to fight the Long-Arm dUde (and any enemy that makes multiple fast attacks): There's a tool that will help. The tool works as a shield that prevents you froM suffering damage and Builds a lot of postuRe damagE to your attacker. You need to buy something from BLack Badger (the hat wearing merchant in Ashina CastLe, where there are some wAtchtowers). I don't remember if you purchased it when you talked to him. I hid the name of the tool in the previous lines, using capitals, so don't read unless you want to make sure you don't have that tool. You use that tool like this: First, upgrade it once. You can use it to block, or you can make it spin to act as deflection, for big posture damage.
I didn't know that you can actually rest after beating the Headless Ape but noting killing it's centipede. I was quite curious what will happen, when I saw that you are walking away from him. 😂 As for these ghosts that appear in the Hidden Forest. The game progresses through the day. You start in the morning and depending on certain actions it will become midday and afternoon, as you may have noticed when you saw the Senpou Temple in the evening sun. In japanese mythology the twilight is the time of the day when our world and the spiritual world come closer, so it's possible that Yokai can enter our world, which I assume is what those ghostly apparitions are (or similar kind as there are other types as well). Actually I learned that when I played Nioh, as I'm not really into japanese mythology, but I found this quite interesting to see it here as well. To bad I now caught up with your videos, so I have to wait for the next one eagerly. Really like your playstyle!
The monkey duo in he beginning felt impossible to overcome. Once you realize, much of the moveset is from the guardian ape fight and they alternate with the attacks, it becomes a rather smooth fight. Or you go for a speedrun strat, and kill him before his girlfriend even appears. Needs perfect timing but possible.
Easiest way to do it is oil then fire crackers on the ape’s partner as soon as she appears. She’s super vulnerable to fire (so is he), so the oil works wonders. She goes out pretty fast when set on fire and then its just that good fun parry fight with the headless ape.
This first run of Sekiro is going very well, certainly much better than my first. a good episode of pure backtracking was necessary In this game there are many small details and even entire game areas that get missed up even just by mistake. Second round against the guardian ape duo was terrifying and very tense but in the end it went the right way GG 🤣(so unnecessary) In that cave with the giant snake it's creepy even just watching it on video, snakes are wonderful creatures that's for sure.
Quick advise to make life a lot easier in Sekiro is to learn how to intentionally use mortal blade. Of course everything is doable without it, but for many bosses, this is the go to weapon art
A good way to take out the treasure carps - 'cos they get REALLY hard to catch - is to equip the prosthetic spear and dash at them. DO NOT get the right side mask fragment yet. It requires the left side mask fragment to work and thats not available for a long time. If you get it now then you will not be able to use it for a long time, when you could get one of the other items and use that straight away. Sorry if thats a bit of a spoiler but if you get that mask fragment now youre going to be really annoyed (I was). For what its worth, having watched your playstyle through many games I doubt you will use the mask anyway and you certainly dont need it. Ive played this game 7 times and I only used it to face the gauntlet mode (which unlocks when you complete the game the first time). It requires a LOT of grinding to actually use. ps if youre facing little guys and a miniboss, just puppet some little guys. Thats what its for. You dont need to sneak up on an enemy to puppet them. You just need to take them out from behind. pps keep going up from where you fought the headless ape. Oh, yes, and you found the other one....surprise!
you can buy unlimited confeti at the end of the game, you can use em to deal more damage to every ennemy, not just the spirits but they work better on spirits
first round, he doesn't use his sweep attack, you stay in front of him and you counter all his attacks, second round is the same but you can jump on his head when he do his sweep, one of the easiest boss in the game
@@IkBerendits time consuming for sure but i guess she is too good to rely on that. just me being a noob back then. and now im playing without kuro charm.how the turns have tabled. its just neat how sekiro is so perfect to even keep a backdoor open for all them noobs (like me) :D
