I feel its easy for Kenyan parents to like Nigerians because of their culture and respect they have when dealing with elders
I can just imagine what it`s like living in Nigeria, I'm a Kenyan married to a Nigerian but I have never visited Nigeria because we met abroad, I can always just imagine what it will be like living in nigrai as my home.Until that time comes, I let life take care of everyday life where we are today.

Some of us are more adventurous and try different types of food from different ethnic groups in Nigeria
We are nice to purse and not always on guard but careful when our instincts tells us something is off.

FYI United States has more than 350 million people and electricity has never been and issue. China too has never had electricity issue despite having over 1 billion population. So the population excuse is very weak
I'm Nigerian and i agree with your point. Population is not and should not be an excuse. It plays a role but very little. The truth is that the Govt just didn't keep up, especially due to the fact that Nigeria suffered Intermittent military regimes which disrupted Govt policies, birthed corruption and non accountability, thereby affecting the power sector.

FYI The United States is 248 years old while Nigeria is just 64 years old as a Country.

@@pearlrants7798 well your reasoning is way off because USA at 64 was the year 1712. Am not trying to humiliate you on social media but Nigeria does not have to reinvent the wheel at year 2024. USA had to reinvent the wheel on pretty much everything even food in year 1712. So the age is not an excuse and in any case, Japan is almost as old as Nigeria but far technologically. United Arab Emirates is 53 years old and younger than Nigeria but incomparable in every sector that exists

Well, I am not trying to make you sound d^ump but if you knew a little bit about the country you are trying to analyze you would know that Nigeria was never a country/ an entity until 1960. I mean if your head wasn’t buried in the cloud.
I dare you to give me a country with the same year of existence, same level of diversity (tribe and religion) and population that is doing better than Nigeria.

Nigeria consistently ranks bottom 10 in education, infrastructure, healthcare, road network, literacy and development. Soccer , crime and corruption are the only areas Nigeria is ranked top 10
Stop living a lie come back to reality!! You are not getting better for God sake. The Naira is approaching 2,000, right or wrong??
They're also nice to some Nigerians. The problem is ethnic; every ethnic group wants to have their share of the national cakes, hence the strife.
Also, like Chandie said, there are areas within a state including Lagos that enjoy better electricity than others. For example, Bariga, Gbagada and Oworonshoki areas of Lagos mainland have good electricity... Like you can go days and weeks without putting on your generator set.

My Iteso community (she knows it) shares many names with some community I don't know in Nigeria. Examples: Akwara, Awurum, Abere/Ebere, Ojepa, and so many others that can't come to mind now

On the electricity, the population of Nigeria should not be an excuse. more people means more taxes to the Government thus more resources to solve the electricity problem. Nigeria has more natural resources like Oil. If Kenya had such resources at their disposal we could be producing enough power to support all our neighbors.

hey! Laura, I am from Busia myself, from Alupe specifically and of course living in Nairobi. But Busia is a Border Town that spans Kenya and Uganda, meaning that part of the town is in Kenya and the other part in Uganda. It's not NEAR Uganda as you put it, it straddles the two countries. 😂😂😂... About electricity and exporting it, there's a twist to it. It's true Nigeria export electricity to Nigeria and Benin and that's because of an agreement the country has leading to the daming of river Niger. So special preference has to be given to these countries regarding electricity. I'm not sure, but they 'may' enjoy better electricity than us. However, that is not to say that Nigeria should not be able to generate enough electricity for it's citizen given the enormous reservoir of natural gas, petroleum and other natural resources we have. Majority of Nigeria's electricity is generated from sources other than water but corruption in government will not allow for the effective distribution of this essential commodity

So after many explanations, you guys still think Nigeria supplies electricity to Ghana? How many times must we tell you guys that Nigeria doesnt supply electricity to Ghana? There is 2/47 electricity everywhere in Ghana and Nigeria is struggling to give just 5hrs constant power supply to only Lagos and you guys say you supply electricity to Ghana, does that make sense to you?
I’m yet to enlighten myself about the gasline/power connection Nigeria has with Ghana so no comments on that but , Nigerians Across most states in the country experience more than 5hrs of light daily . It’s best to get information from people and experiences as opposed to what the ‘ Media Writes ‘ It’s Always more accurate 😉
@@chandie3585is gas an electricity ? These are two different commodities but you guys always make it look like gas is electricity.
Even if you supply Ghana with gas, is it for free? You sell a product and I patronize you, we buy and pay cash. You don't give it to us for free. If selling your product and I buy, pay for it and take it home, whatever I choose to use it for is non of your business. Moreover, gas can.be used for different things, example, for domestic use, mechanics can also use gas for their welding activities, vehicles can also use gas to power their engines instead of diesel and super. You can also use gas to power a power plant to generate electricity. Take note, gas cannot convert into electricity, you can only use it to power some electricity generating plants just like you use diesel to power your generators in Nigeria to generate electricity. Take note again, Ghana is no longer buying gas from Nigeria, we produce our own gas to power our power plants now in our own country. Thank you.

Ghanians and spreading misinformation 5&6! I lived in Nigeria all my life! Had between 22-24hr daily ! When we say Nigeria don’t have light we mean it’s not always stable! Doesn’t mean we in darkness! 👍
