I would take any one of these cars over anything built today.

I agree with the other commentors. Maybe you, the narrator, doesn't like these cars but automobile enthusiasts love them because they're one of a kind, with the exception of the Edsel.

I learned to drive on a 62 rambler, no they weren't the most exciting thing to hit the road, but it was rock solid dependable! Would start in the dead of winter when nothing else would. It was a lot sturdier than anything made today.

My Mother had an early Corvair. She loved that car and as I remember it didn't give her much trouble. We also later had a Corvair Van. As for Ramblers they were everywhere in the 60's so I guess they did ok. My Grandparents had a 66 Rambler Wagon. I don't remember them having trouble with that either.

    The57 Imperial was advanced .
Lincoln and Cadillac raced to catch up by 59. But Imperial didn’t update significantly from 57 until 64.

I'd rather have these cars, than the junk they build now, they were solid and didn't have all the computer junk they build today!

My father bought a Dodge Aspen and he dealt with a multitude of problems. Aftrr having tha rusted front fenders replaced, he switched to Ford, which wasn't much of an improvement
