Girl! I have been saving your video on the natural looking hard gel nails....I bought all of the products needed but I have to wait to do my nails because I have a huge sewing project I have to complete! I am making an 1800's skirt and jacket to wear to my niece's wedding in August....so I am chomping at the bit to do my own nails! I will just have to be satisfied with watching your videos' until I can do my own! Thank you so much for taking the time to educate and post your videos'! And all those idiots that sent you hate mail....they don't know what they are talking about. I have been doing my nails for over 20 years and acetone is the only thing that will remove hard gel or acrylic. Yes it can be a little harsh on the skin, but a good cuticle oil and lotion for your hands will take care of that! You just keep doing what you're doing Kayli....you're doing just fine!
quick tips that idk if you know already, when youre wiping off the sticky layer from the gel, wipe UNDER the nail too, also if you have see through nails, top coat underneath the nail too. both these tips help to prevent dust and keep the nails looking nice and neat, and also clear!

Try to apply a non-wipe top coat underneath the nails, it will make them so clear and prevent the dirt from sticking

People who don’t know the difference between remover and acetone are so funny. People think they know everything but probably haven’t even ever had extensions of ANY kind on 😂😂😂 lmao those girls only do polish and or 2 layers of gel. They wouldn’t even begin to understand taking off ACTUAL product.
babe nail polish remover is not diluted acetoneeee that's the point, acetone is bad for natural nails because it dehydrates them, but if you use gel you need it to remove it! otherwise, if you don't and you want your natural nails to grow, is better to use remover because it doesn't contain acetone (like really, the whole point is not using acetone so you should look for one that has vitamins and says explicitly that it doesn't contain acetone) and it's better for cuticles, nail health and stuff, but for gel acetone is necessary

Respectfully, Currently in nail school and I can verify that 100% acetone will be fine to use as long as you MOISTURIZE with a cuticle conditioning agent…after using it to remove artificial acrylics enhancement & gel polish. Builder gel can only be filed off, as it chemically doesn’t soak as easily. Nail polish remover is essentially diluted acetone always look at ingredient list and they also tend to have alcohol which dries up the nail plate as well. Lots of things are bad for the nails but if you take the correct supplements and add that oil back into your hands in other ways it helps! Mistakenly over Filing your nails can be much more damaging then acetone but that’s my opinion! She does a great job at advertising that she’s no professional and shares helpful straight to the point info. Don’t want to sass up but also want to encourage research.
