I saw someone shown this on another youtube video that also has this couple talking about this. He explains about the word boat in chinese. Here is what I rewrote. 船 means ship, boat or vessel. 舟 means boat. 八 means eight. 口 means mouth. It happens the ship Noah was in had eight people.

This is insanely interesting to me, especially because this sort of connects to why Japanese people do not wish to become Christian most of the time. It's also why being fluent in English can sometimes be isolating. Language is a vehicle for culture. If you become christian, the Japanese believe you are forsaking your Japanese roots and taking Christianity on is your main identity. It can be very isolating. This would be very good as a message for the Japanese as well.

I am a Chinese Christian. I have studied the Bible for more than 40 years. I know my Bible from cover to cover, and I live it. What the Singaporean pastor says is spot-on. Everything fits together like hand in glove.
For the person who says what the pastor says is hocus pocus, this is because you do not know the Bible. You do not know the Holy Spirit of God. God’s truths and spiritual truths can only be understood with guidance of God’s Spirit. The Bible has a verse to describe such people.
1 Corinthians 2:14 The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
This means that the Christian understands all the truths of God. But if you do not have the Spirit of God in your heart, you are excluded from understanding God’s ways in the world, languages and cultures.

A Chinese lady told me America China Korea Japan and other nations fight fight fight politically. But us christians from many nations together WE SING TO PRAISE GOD AND THE LAMB IN PEACE. Shang Di is the Chinese equivalent of the ‘Force’ in Star Wars, known as ‘Brahman’ in the Vedas for universal existence which became ‘Monad’ in Greek. It is the Living God/Living Force which the Hebrew call Yehovah (YHVH). Each group had their own distinct interpretation and understanding.
What the Jesuits sought to do is subvert China by Christianizing Shang Di so that the Imperial Religion became subservient to Rome. 船 means ship, boat or vessel.
舟 means boat. 八 means eight. 口 means mouth.

The same story exists in India scriptures as the story of Manu. Same story exists in Chinese/japanese lore too.
@@cyb-m NO one is suggesting the story belongs to Christians, there were no Christians, Jews, or anything else, there was only one race then, the human race! No one STOLE the story, you are missing the point. Again, every nation has a flood story, because it was passed down, from the very beginning and each nation has the story, unfortunately it was changed and added too, the names are different, north americans say it was a canoe, that is just their understanding, it doesn't mean they stole the story, or were the first ones to document the occurrence, obviously their ancestors were participants, cause we all can be traced back to NOAH!
