- Mortal Kombat's Kurtis Stryker is a cop. Kurtis Stryker is a good cop in that he is unambiguously fighting on the side of the heroes, and that is definitely where he belongs. A man of duty dedicated to wiping out any enemies who threaten the peace, "Stryker" is a man who takes his job seriously. We'll show you how with our video on the Full Story of Kurtis Stryker.

I like him because he's basically a regular guy.
Even other humans, like Johnny Cage, Kung Lao and Liu Kang, have some sort of magic or supernatural ability. Styker is just a bloke with a gun
l like that his magical power is nightstick and gun. Even Erron Black was mutated by Shang Tsung.

Nah personality is what makes the Kharacters relatable, along with their unique abilities and fighting skills.
@@artofmartialcinemaamc5334 That's just it with Stryker there, he's more of a normal guy with a more down to Earth, everyday person quality to him which makes him more realistic and relatable among the other MK characters.

Stryker is an interesting standout character. He was really cool and had a badass suit in Armageddon.

Stryker needs to come back. in a world where everyone is a god, demi-god, has some magical power, or advanced technology. Their needs to be a guy who goes Fuckit this is my magical weapon a nightstick, taser, flashlight and a Colt 1911.
That was why Stryker was my favorite character, he was just a normal human and was able to kick ass. Also, with him being a normal human, he really sticks out as unique compared to other fighters.
In a universe where your realm is visited by gods, magical ninjas, zombies, robots, demons, sorcerers, and interdimensional warlords, Stryker deserves a little more respect from the mortals of Earthrealm just for holding his own.

Stryker was referenced in the robocop DLC. With Jax saying to Alex Murphy " he was not just a cop, he's super cop" with Alex Murphy saying " it's a shame I didn't get the chance to meet him" that might be a hint that he is coming back later.

I never understood the criticism Stryker got ever since his debut just because he's a normal person with no superhuman abilities. No one ever said anything about Batman and Captain America and they have no superhuman abilities. I would love to have seen Stryker return in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.

Sadly Stryker got replaced by the far superior Erron Black. Though, it would have been interesting to see Stryker Vs. Erron Black.

I used to use Stryker in UMK3 and Trilogy. People hated him, but he was so resourceful, and I could juggle the fuck outta people with the bombs, gun, and that baton sweep, and launch move he had... He had a lot of moves.
I think Stryker should definitely become DLC at some point, simply so we could have all the Revenants.
So Smoke should return as well.

Bringing Stryker back would be great, even if he's only a sidekick to one of the other powerful characters. I can see him in an old-fashioned showdown with Erron Black and claiming his weapons to use as his own if necessary while buying time for the big endgame fight, but here's the biggest surprise: before the big bad deals the killing blow, Stryker fires with one of Black's guns in an unnoticed (except to him) vulnerable spot which kills said big bad and is thanked by the champion before doing what the story needs to have done. Just on a side note, I wanted Stryker to say "Not on my watch" afterwards (the killshot that is), but that might've been too much; what do you think?
