Fresh From Japan! A Seiko 7A28-7040 JDM 15j speedtimer - July 11, 2024

I just got in a straight-from-Tokyo special, a December 1982 Speedtimer, the JDM version with the block "CHRONOGRAPH" dial text. A relatively low-hours piece that shows us that even stainless steel will rust if its not taken care of!
PSA: This video contains sub-optimal levels of editing, enough to get it done. We have zero script beyond the questions people have sent in. Same for the sound - I forget my microphone pretty regularly, so if you can hear anything count that as a win. Even if that "anything" is tuneless humming. I did pump up the volume though. YMMV if you choose to spend part of your life on this. No Refunds. Enjoy!

Isnt there a leaser machine that easily remove the rust ?? I think it used on automotive business
