I have never heard or seen of anyone doing or talking about the hover-paddle with a hot bath, but it's so true. Must be a human instinctual thing.

i don't hover, i just get in and paddle lol
and i like to use the shower head for the cold water, so the top of me stays really nice and cool while i scortch the horrors of the day directly out of my soul.

Best comedian EVER!!! You make everyday things we do so funny. It makes me feel less stupid cuz i can laugh about myself and it always makes me realise that im not the only one who does these things!! 🤣🤣

yes! same! it gets better after a while, and if you get woozy, turn the shower head on with cold water directly on top of your head. cools the brain off while still taking a few layers of skin off the body, just like a bath should.

This is going to be great! Finally, a comedian that doesn’t use race, sex, politics, to make jokes! Michael is just such a great REAL comedian that actually WORKS to make his jokes and not just use whatever is on the news that day! Michael McIntyre... one of the last real comedians

What I love about Mr McIntyre's humour is that it is limitless.
It will traverse every square inch of existence and relentlessly dig and forage for every tiny particle of humour....then pack it into a boxing glove of performance and dialogue and punch us in the face with it. Always a very satisfying experience.
Thank you Mr M for the countless hours of humour therapy I hope one day to see you perform live its on my to do list but Netflix will do in the meantime. Cheers!
Watched this live - was brilliant! Plus was filmed in London a matter of weeks before lockdown. He made a joke about it being the last large crowd gathering we’d be to in a long time... none of us believed it even then!

There are very few comedians who can make me laugh 'til I cry. Michael McIntyre is one. I've seen him do these routines before but they have me in stitches every time.
Other comedians blast Micheal as not being a true comedian, but in reality he is the best, because no matter what age what sex, he draws out the human condition that leads us to a giggle or a gut wrenching roar! So not just a true comedian but the BEST,! Yahhhhh!

Part of his success is that he constantly skits himself, eg the hot bath, the odd walk, the speaking to his children. He adds comedic asides to everyday instances, and the audience are in fits laughing as we all can see some of this in ourselves, albeit exaggerated. Classic. The late Tommy Cooper did similar many years ago. Comedy based (loosely) around experiences and not critical of others, except gentle asides occasionally, eg the passport queues, the rope guides. Very astute observational comedy. Not scoring points on anyone.
Thank God Netflix finally woke up and realized that they haven’t made a program with the funniest comedian yet. Can’t wait for the whole show.

OMG he is sooooo funny! I found him abouta year ago on UTUBE and watch him all the time! I laugh at his routines just as much every time I see them. I can’t wait for this special in September. I’m so disappointed because he talks fast and his accent makes him too hard for my husband to understand, so I laugh by myself! Funniest comedian I have heard in a very long time.

Ohh, he's glorious. I laughed until I choked and started coughing, and now my eyes are watering.
Also … mixing valves. Very useful item in the plumbing aisle. You turn on the hot tap *and* the cold tap, and warm water comes out the spout. :)
