02-02-2025 Fort Worth, TX - Semi rolls over, blocks I-35W for hours

Around 7:30 pm. Sunday evening, Fort Worth received calls about an Amazon semi that had rolled over on north bound I-35W coming on from the 287n bridge near downtown. When FD arrived, they found that the entire highway except for the right side shoulder was blocked. PD worked for nearly an hour to shut down the area and releave traffic around the accident, including having some vehicles squeeze between the front of the overturned truck and the concrete wall. After all access points to the area where closed and forced to take I-30, the rest of the drivers had to go southbound in the north bound lanes and then get onto the toll road to get around the semi. After nearly 3 hours, the truck was uprighted and hauled away. The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
