The dedication plaque in the episode said 74913. The explanation for the hull error is that it was a fake number to fool spies into thinking it was an older ship, but it was just a mistake. There was a previous Nebula-Class Prometheus on DS9 with a 71--- number, so it couldn't be older than that one.

It had a load of ablative armor which I guess is what some of those panels are?
