This was a awesome review! The XL voyager is such a beautiful ship "by far my favorite ship" so I might be a bit bias but I think that did an excellent job on the ship, the detail is intense and well done! The fact you can see the escape pod id numbers is so cool, so overall definitely worth the money it's an amazing ship!!!
Thanks for your review Good model size, but the windows paintjob is just horrible. Painted most of time miles away indents, indents are on the right places, and paint most of time on lifepods.... it's a huge NO for me at this price !
Interesting, mine has no paint problems except for the windows and if you want to get REALLY picky there are some millimeter sized details off by fractions of a millimeter but you'd never really see it unless you did something like this. I showed a lot of the life pods off in my video and they looked great. But the Windows, while a problem, don't really bother me as much on this model because the indents are so hard to see unpainted and the biggest problems are in the back where they aren't on display nearly as much. When you look at the windows closely it's obvious but just normally admiring the model they just blend in among the rest of the fantastic detailing. Even recording this I've had the model for so long I forgot the windows were horribly misaligned until I saw them right before I said something like half way through the video.
I have both as well. As a starship Voyager is more detailed then a reliant class so it's harder to judge. But I think it's at a simmilar level of capturing everything in the model. It's just there's more to capture on Voyager which makes it a bit more impressive to me. The only problem is window misalignment you can see in the video, but other then that it's a fantastic model imo. The only caveat to that is I think most of Voyager's detail is on the underside or the back, so it's a model that works better on one of the eye level or higher shelves

Hi! How does this rank with the Reliant xl. I have that one and it’s super detailed and beyond my expectations. I always wondered about the VOYAGER XL
