You are lucky. Any Lexus made in America need 100k point inspection, and 2 month under test before sell.

Yes! You could see how in the Japanese plant everyone is wearing proper uniforms, while in the U.S plant everyone is wearing whatever they want that could cause scratches to the cars, etc.

I bought a 2022 LC 500 and it took a year from purchase to get to Canada . All that time I was so excited waiting .I’m so happy it was specially built for me all the way from Japan . Thanks Lexus ! Absolutely love it !!

I have 7 Lexus's, I just can't bring myself to part with any of them. I am about to order the new LX500D F Sports, it will Become my new daily when it arrives. My wife thought I was going to sell one of the older ones but I've just obtained council approval to put a new shed out next to the other shed. I will keep my Lexus in the new shed.........and I might have to build some sleeping accomodation out there for when the wife finds out

Has a mechanic for 30 years and a owner of many Toyota/Lexus. They are built like no other vehicle. That is why they are number 1. Amazing.
Notice the more expensive lexus models are made in japan. For good reason, even the Japanese know American workers are fat and lazy. I dont care how much 5s and Kaizen you do, the Japanese worker will always have more integrity and diligence.
That’s a very broad statement to make that all Americans are fat and you and lazy, cause you don’t know them all, it’s like saying all your family are deformed inbreds made a product of incest and we don’t even know them, is it true.
Just about to pull the trigger on a 23 Lexus IS500 with the naturally aspirated V8. I can't wait.

2017 GS350 AWD owner and love it! Just an excellent cruiser.
Love lexus. My first car an 2008 IS 250, only problem with it in 5 years of having it was last year, the original exhaust needing replacing. Not had any other issues with it. Bought a RX 450h now, will see how that goes, but so far, so good. Love it.

Honda, Toyota, etc.. had disciplined work strategies that comes to no surprise today.

I had a 1990 Lexus LS400 with 259k miles, awesome car, got totaled unfortunately, got a 1991 Toyota Celsior now, very beautiful cars.

you can open the drivers side door on the side it will say made in japan. pretty sure all Lexus' are Made In Japan
@@georgeh559 Not true. Lexus UX, NX, RX, GX, and some of the lower trim ES models are assembled in the USA & Canada. And no, not all engines are assembled in Japan. Only their V6's and V8's come from Japan. All of Toyota's 4 cylinder engines are assembled in the USA.

Compare these workers to typical UAW workers. Proper haircut, clean uniforms, no tattoos and typical attention to details. I wish we could import that part of the culture to US factories.

I’ve got a 2007 Lexus ES 350 with 185,000 miles on it. I’m gonna run that thing as long as I can, hoping to get it to 300,000 miles.
I believe the last ES 350s that were built in Japan were built in either 2014 or 2015. When my 2007 days I’ll be looking for one of those.

My father's car is a silver 2021 Lexus RX350, I just want to know how my father's car is made.
First start by looking up the VIN number on your RX350. If it starts with a number (ex. 543NJ..., it was assembled either in the US or Mexico), if it starts with a J (J7634C...) then this means it was FULLY assembled in Japan and built to the highest standards possible.

Lexus ES are built in Lexington Kentucky, while RX are built in Cambridge Ontario Canada. All the other models like the LS are still made in Japan.
My IS 250 convertible was built in Japan 🇯🇵 best car ever, also my RAV 4 .
My wife's RX came with two factory defects, so......
What were the defects?
@@paigesnow4098 Front end alignment off and there's a piece of some clear double sided tape that is a 1/4 inch wide across the little window where you see the VIN on the dash. They aligned the car (not perfect and I am picky about that so I'll be readdressing that) and the tape is here to stay until the windshield gets replaced, if ever. My 19 RAV had intermittent trans trouble they could never settle. My 22 4Runner was and still is flawless.

Just saw a similar video from the 2024 mercedes plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. That makes this plant look pretty old-fashioned and a bit messy.
My choice? Definitely Mercedes Benz.
