Sunny only has 3 million subs but his videos consistently get millions of views. Dude is god tier at making content and taking advantage of the algorithm
I’m a former friend/mod of Jikishi’s, and like many of the people you highlighted shared throughout the video, he was probably one of the nicest guys I knew online, and when I had heard about him getting raided by Dream and later invited to the Dream SMP, I was nothing but excited for him. He was super hard working, and when the news broke it absolutely broke my heart. I have a friend who checked in on him after the drama w his brother and from what I was told he was going through therapy and all of that, I don’t know much other than that though. The point of this is that you can never know what someone might be hiding, and to just be careful, especially with people online. You can never know. Good covering of all this, thanks Sunny.
I remember seeing this drama when it was still new yet I had absolutely no idea it would be this severe, it really goes to show that you'll never know what your favourite creators are really like off camera.
eh, kids don't know much, most of them see stuff like this and think it's cool and proceed to do most vile shit possible only to realize that was not good years later.
Thank you for doing a video on this topic. This situation was a big eye opener for me. I was one of Jikishis biggest supporters before everything went down. I was tier 3 subbed for months, joined every stream, was planning on buying merch, and tweeted about him all the time. The scariest part was that we followed each-other and ive spoken to him through dms. I was so shocked to hear that anyone I’ve supported this much could ever do this. This situation made me understand how scary the internet is, and how easy it is to have a kind and trustworthy character on the outside but have such a heartless and gross individual on the inside.
So Here's An Update On Jikishi: his former roommate Jwhisp released a Twitlonger about his experiences with him after SunnyV2 released This video. He revealed that Jiukishi's real name was Demetrius Madsen and that he's originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Las Vegas to be closer to his mother after having a falling out with his father. He revealed that when Jikishi was exposed, he wasn't sure whether or not the alligations were real, however after one of his closest female friend told him that Jikishi also sexually abused her and sent him evidence to confirm this, he got very angry and told Jikishi to move out within 24 hours. Jwhisp stated that after he kicked Jikishi out, he had blank memory that lasted for weeks and ended up moving back to Ohio. He also gave some of the details of what happened to Jikishi after the controversy. After being kicked out, Jikishi went to live with his mother, but later moved out and has since disappeared from the Las Vegas area.
@@SWNelson7 police rarely look into the matter unless it directly involves rape I'm not even shocked this goof was in my home city, feel like Vegas is bloated with goof diddlers
Can we just appreciate how good sunny is at doing this? He is very good at explaining things well, but he also gets to the point and doesn’t go off track. He also perfectly mixes quotes from other people with his own opinion. Not everyone can do this. It’s not easy
People always seem to blame Dream for everything, even when things wasn't his fault. He didn't know about Jikishi at the time, and he got exposed right after he joined the SMP. You can't shift the blame on someone for not knowing anything!
You can blame people for not knowing something. A good example's fining, incarcerating or otherwise penalizing a person who wasn't aware of traffic laws in a given area, ie. riding on wrong side of the road if they're from UK or AU.
And things are about to get worse after Dream revealed his face, around a year later since the incident. Several allegations coming up that Clay, George, and Sapnap are not liking each other (they are not having their time of the lives, and even if they show some positive outlook, many may dismiss this as a fake facade of sorts, I could sense that) and then, the grooming (that came out immediately after the face reveal).
Not a fan of Dream or any of his bullshit, but he did the right thing when he did have information to act on. What strikes me as strange is nobody "spoke out" before Jikishi joined Dream, when he was a nobody. Funny how people can sit on whatever they class as abuse for years, then come out the woodwork when there is something to be gained.
“Wow this creator is so chill and kind I’m going to watch him grow his popularity! He’s getting really popular! WOW he got added to the dream SMP- 42 people have accused him of pedophilia and grooming…”
@@asquirrelplays not really. I might not immediately go on a public tirade against those who mistreated me, but I sure will speak out if I see them gaining influencer over more potential victims.
its just so dumb man, besides how do you even get "canceled" 40 times. Clearly getting cancleded the first 39 times wasnt really getting canceled then xd
The end of the video was scary. He's "disappeared", kinda like a villain in a horror movie after people think they've killed him, but then his body vanishes, ready to strike another day...
When are you gonna understand that not everyone on the internet is a mentally mature adult who understands complex situations? Literally most of Dream's fans are a bunch of children so just move on.
I remember this guy. He legit game-ended his career faster than anyone else, his own world record. Ended as soon as it began. Though most people never knew who he was, and he's definitely not the most cancelled, so I'm not sure why this video was made in this way
His name is out there too but honestly I think him being pushed into obscurity gives him even more opportunities to groom children. I try to believe in rehabilitation but Jikishi needed/needs to go to prison for a very long time because there is no way the guy isn't grooming children as we speak.

it's so absurd that people can do things like send explicit pictures of themselves to minors and ask for some back and get away without any repercussion other than losing their persona online
Yeah, it’s crazy with these creators too, if they said one stupid thing they’d probably be let off the hook. Instead they decide to power trip and try to take advantage of their status, and yeah sure you never know how someone will react once they gain that power, but there’s like 47 steps before you do something like this where you can stop and still save your reputation.
Don't think it's fair to assume everyone who's nice is hiding a dark side. Nice people don't deserve automatic distrust just because they're, well, nice. The problem is that they often get TREATED like exceptions, and the ones who are secretly rotted exploit the hell out of that. Never trust a first impression.
@@EBCgangLeader Nothing wrong with having 'dark' instincts or fetishes, but liking minors is harmful in practice. He was super hard working, and when the news broke it absolutely broke my heart. I have a friend who checked in on him after the drama w his brother and from what I was told he was going through therapy and all of that, I don’t know much other than that though.
