Not meny people get the chance to do a trip like this Matt. Our thanks to you for bringing us along on such an awesome adventure. We understand the extra effort and difficulties you face in recording it. Bushyboy Oz
Great trip, glad you made to Algonquin, it was fun to watch! I like how you guy's all have your own channel's and now I have some camping video's to get me through the Canadian winter.
What an adventure matt 🙌 good job the sun was covering your eyes on the tribute too tracy & caleb 😪 them portage,s are a plenty matt but the result looks very welcoming indeed 🛶🙌👍👌 excellent content 👍
I love the Canadian wilderness. Been in it several times. This is a fantastic video of the great, the good, the not-so-good, and the overall enjoyment of being in nature. Thanks, Matt for doing the "extra" to take us along. Brought up some great memories for this ol' man.
I’ve been watching this trip over on Eze’s channel and I shared it with Dennis at Canoehound Adventures. Dennis was already familiar with it and suggested that I check out your channel so, here I am lol
Yet again another great vidio fantastic country for the outdoors man I've done western Canada the views was like I was in a movie set lol absolutely breth taking
@ADVENTURE IS MADE it is buddy absolutely magical the mountains forests as far as you can possibly see slightly different to what we have in yorkshire lol 😆
Thanks Jon 😃 yeah definitely took me a few days to get into the rhythm haha, absolutely loved it tho, hopefully I'll get chance to come back one day 👌🏻 cheers mate, atvb, Matt 👍🏻
Thank you mate 😃 was such an awesome trip 👌🏻 hope you get chance to experience it one day buddy, cheers for watching, appreciate it as always - Matt 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi. New to watching your channel, I've watched a few of your lake district wild camps then this popped up. Really enjoyed this video, never seen anyone do this before. Such an awesome place to be . Was the trip guided or you all follow maps?
Hi mate, thank you, glad your enjoying the videos 😁 so we just had maps that we followed. Was such an awesome trip, can't wait to go back 👍🏻 cheers, Matt
Cheers Wallace, appreciate it mate 🙌🏻 Yeah she's a great a great dog 😁 Awesome, I originally wanted a patterdale, but couldn't say no when I saw her at dogs trust 😃 cheers buddy, atvb Matt 👍🏻
Without going on ( about dogs) you may have done well our Patterdale cross (with a Whippet?) feels the cold more than any dog I’ve known. Anyway maybe an issue for wild camping. Though do see Poppy in various coats n jackets. Not binge watching - too good for that 👍😀
So I was a little apprehensive at first, but after speaking to the outfitters i realised that the chances of seeing one would be pretty small. Just made sure I was good with hanging food out of camp etc too, which helped 😁👍🏻
Hiya Matt, I've seen you wearing revolution race nordwind pro pants. I'm looking at getting some but i do have lagre thighs, how's the fit on them, what size did you get and your opinions please, anything to help me consider them or other will be much appreciated
Hi mate. So mine are the GP Pro pants and I have the XL version. But yeah I love them, really comfortable to wear, loads of pockets, can put knee pads in them and just generally really hard wearing. I've actually just got a new pair. Hope that helps, Matt 👍🏻
Amazing opportunity for you and friend(s). I have no sense of togetherness or camaraderie from this video. Might as well have been on your own. I realise UA-camrs like to make their own take on the same route, but this seemed like Matt was on his own if you turned down the sound on the video. I contrast this video with Simon a Bloke in the Woods videos of his major Scandinavian trip by canoe with Kent Survival. At least there was some sense of traveling and working together as a team.

Great film matt 👏🏻
Well done Matt! Not easy to jump into a longer trip in a different environment and country and film it but you handled it with aplomb
Thanks Jon 😃 yeah definitely took me a few days to get into the rhythm haha, absolutely loved it tho, hopefully I'll get chance to come back one day 👌🏻 cheers mate, atvb, Matt 👍🏻

What a great paddle trip, that rain was epic but never stopped the fire . Thanks for sharing.
I’m newly subbed and saw that Poppy is a Staffie Whippet cross we have a Patterdale cross very similar look but smaller. Really enjoying the content 👍

Your trip was in late Sept/Early October I guess? The water seemed pretty low!
We’re you concerned about there being any bears about?
So I was a little apprehensive at first, but after speaking to the outfitters i realised that the chances of seeing one would be pretty small. Just made sure I was good with hanging food out of camp etc too, which helped 😁👍🏻
Beautiful journey man. May I ask how you maintain battery on your cameras/phone? I’m new to camping
Thanks mate. So I just carry spare batteries plus two power banks too 👍🏻
Hello.
What Boots die you wear?
Greetings from Germany
