Obi-Wan on the Jedi council is essentially what Batman is to the Justice League. He isn't there because he is naturally gifted or powerful, he just pushed himself to the peak of his potential.
And because he’s smart anytime he’s in a fight we’re he’s clearly outmatched or out powered he uses his environment and his experience to beat his opponents he always reads his opponents weaknesses when he’s fighting them
George Lucas said that Vader is 80% the power of Sidious, but that his potential was cut in half when he was burnt on Mustafar. If Sidious' count was 20,000 that would mean Anakin's would have been over 30,000
I remember hearing someone say it was 20k per cell so even when he lost his potential he would still have 20k per cell just less cells if that makes sense
What matters most is living up to one’s force potential. Obi-wan had a relatively low force potential, but was able to beat Vader because he summoned his full strength when it mattered.
It helped Obi-Wan in that he had trained, spared with and fought along side Anakin and since as far as I know, Palpatine kept most addition training and knowledge from Anakin. So in essence, Anakin, as Vader, was Dark Jedi playing at being a Sith Lord. And it took him a long time before he let go of most of his past and grew out of his implosive and emotional teenage self. (Edit) Well that and two other things; “Unless a Sith overwhelms there opponent early on, a Sith Lord will eventually lose to a Jedi Master… Without peace, you forget technique.” That and one’s strength in the Force is meaningless if it’s not the Will of the Force. Obi-Wan couldn’t lose.
Technically he never reached his full potential while alive, because oneness with the force unlocks your absolute highest potential. If only he had some Bota.
he was only able to “beat” Vader cause of his emotions from his past, if Vader had no feelings for obi-wan or didn’t know about him then it would end in minutes.
Imagine if he had actually saved his mother. To me that is the root, the beginning of his fear of losing loved ones especially Padme which lead to the Darkside. If he had just been there in time perhaps he would have let Windu kill Palpatine. Then, like Mace said, the Jedi Master would have trusted Anakin & who knows what could have happened from that friendship.
@@bipolarminddroppings If Anakin reached his full potential, he probably wouldn't even use a lightsaber. Palpatine considers the lightsaber like a toy. A fully powered Anakin could probably just overwhelm whoever he faced with raw Force power, and not really need anything else.
So glad we can talk about m counts now. George has said Luke & Leia have the same potential as their father. And is widely accepted because of that every Skywalker has the same M count with that being (by blood) Anakin, Luke, Leia & Ben. Having that “mighty Skywalker blood”
I personally believe Anakin''s midichlorian count is much higher than usually speculated. A lot of people state that Anakin's original potential was twice that of Palpatine which would place him in the 35,000 to 40,000 midichlorian range and after his mustafar demise he is said to 80% the potential of Palpatine putting him at about 16,000 midichlorians, but thats just my take on it.
him being cut in half wouldn't take down his force potential because the midichlorian count is per cell, not total I agree with your comment overall though, I always placed anakin at around 32000 in my head canon, just felt like the right number to me
@@arcerionmusic It wouldn't reduce his midichlorian count but him being cut in half would reduce the amount of cells he has, therefore reducing his overall midichlorians. But yes even after being burnt, cut and suited up he'd still have around 35,000 midichlorians, just not many cells
@@pandet actually I don't know whether that really matters. like for example, yoda has a smaller mass than most other jedi, and his midichlorian count checks out with his strength this is actually a really interesting question though, I'll have to research this
@@arcerionmusic yes its a weird one that doesn't seem to stay very consistent. i guess vader's ''80% potential of palpatine'' after mustafar extends to his armour limiting his movement and other functions but im not sure
@@pandet that's a portion of it, but also because he's unable to channel force energy through his limbs to do things like conjure force lightning or tutaminis. vader was theorized to be able to use red force lightning, which was much more powerful than the average blue or purple. severing the target's connection to the force, this was used most famously by the son in the clone wars mortis arc. if you've watched the mortis arc and seen the crazy shit that the "ones" (father son & daughter) could do, anakin would probably be able to do similar because it was said he had the potential to rule over the son & daughter and be the bendu force god, aka "the father". this is just speculation but the force lightning and other things that he was unable to do cut down his potential by a lot because force lightning was used with sith alchemy and magic, as we see sidious and dooku use in tcw s6, as well as always being vulnerable to palpy's force lightning due to not being able to protect himself from it and the damage it would do to his body. I didn't mean to make my reply this long but it gets my thoughts across for the most part lmao
The M count seems like a good starting point to get into the order but like any good weapon it needs to be sharpened and honed. Having a high count is like a Gladiator with a warmaul. Great for breaking things but without focus is useless against someone with a small but razor sharp connection.
A low midichlorian count can’t hold back effective training, dedication, and effort in improving one’s abilities. Just like a high midichlorian count can’t compensate for poor training, dedication, and lack of effort.
So if Anakin hadn't fallen he had the potential to be the strongest force user in history. Highballing him at 30k when Vitiate only hits 25k is baffling, even a low ball is 27k. So even at his lowest estimate he had the potential to devour galaxies.
Anakin lost 4 fifths of his potential after the physical injuries of Mustafar. And he was still the most powerfull being in the galaxy next to Sidious. Now, imagine Anakin at his full potential. It would be a beast like never seen before
I like the use of "potential" here in this. A high count means they have the /potential/ to be strong, but if their "sync rate" is low then all that power is useless. Taking into account Jedi with a lower count but a higher sync rate allowing them to be on par with /stronger/ people. All that unlimited power is useless if you can't even open the valve more than a drip.
I've often thought that what if the force itself took on a human form. Similarly to how it's believed that the force conceived anakin. But unlike anakin this human form of the force would have no mother of or father and wouldn't be born a human or other species. It would simply just come to be as a fully formed member of whatever species it chose to inhabit. But in this case let's say a human, So it would just be a fully grown human instantly. Imagine how powerful it would be.
Master Luke, do you believe that you and your sister's frankly insane force powers were greatly influenced by the Force itself being your paternal grandfather? Also, do you believe that your mother was Force-sensitive?
You describe exactly what the Force entities are. Like the Force priestesses and Mortis. The strongest living being that the force could make is someone like Anakin. It basically melded itself into a living creature and create a force being with the host DNA. It needs a catalyst.
@@TheSecondPrimarch yes I do believe it was a very important factor, however simply inheriting a high midichlorian count is not enough. A Jedi must train their connection to the force through meditation and will power. You must learn to control it, to feel it flowing through your veins, but never try to bend it to your will, for that is the path to the dark side. You can explore the force in all its aspects as long as you can keep your emotions in check. A Jedi must have a clear mind their thoughts cannot be clouded by greed, lust and envy. Overall physical and mental health are also vital, discipline when in training not only with the force but also with your blade, a great swordsman finds his faults and errors and trains them out and replaces them with strengths. Control of the force and its powers and the mastery of a lightsaber come from experience and practice, even those who aren't force sensitive can still learn the traits of the Jedi and be a great swordsman. Patience is a virtue with calmness and great skill to boot you'll be a fine warrior and keeper of peace and justice in the galaxy
I would say this would have to do with an XP increase In multiplayer of how much you gain skill and power And connection It all depends on the person on how far they push themselves
han solo shoots people without him using his senses(sight and hearing). he is definitely force sensitive. obi wan is a common misconception he has a high m count but his master was a jedi counselor and gave him the bare minimum in training as a jedi guardian. his force augmentation let him easily outfence his padawan peers that had masters way before him.
His M count was 13k which is above average. But kenobi is a tale of dedication over natural talent. He was average but went to extraordinary due to his dedication.
@@richardbarth918 there are no official m count that I know of and the ones posted are very inconsistent. Don’t get me wrong, not implying he became a great Jedi because of his force sensitivity. His feats do imply that he is highly force sensitive, he sensed a disturbance in the force Long before phantom menace, he had visions of Owen and Luke as a child. He is after mace and anakin feat wise as a Jedi
My headcanon is that luck is a form of minor force manipulation. So yeah, Ham is likely slightly force sensitive. However, it wouldn’t be enough for Jedi training
@@Smoothalcoholic his m count was provided around the release of the prequels and lucas has confirmed by nature obi wan was slighhtlt above average but via dedication he became very powerful. Top 10 people with the highest strength in the Force. (from my knowledge at least.) 1. Anakin Skywalker: 27,800. 2. Vitiate: Roughly 25,000. 3. Luke: Roughly 24,000. 4. Leia: Same as Luke. 5. Galen Marek: Roughly 22,000. 6. Palpatine: Roughly 20,000. 7. Exar Kun: 19,000. 8. Yoda: Roughly 18,000. 9. Revan: Same as Yoda. 10. Bane: Same as Yoda & Revan.
@@JoybuzzerX after Mustafar? Then yes, but if we're talking about Anakin before his duel with Obi-Wan then he has the highest Midichlorian Count in Star Wars.

I think Obi-wan is the Kakashi of the Star Wars universe. Not the most force power or chakra, but an excellent teacher who became great through effort and wisdom.
So the explanation for midichlorians that I prefer is that it doesn't actually directly make you powerful, or even directly be force potential. I sort of focus on the term force 'sensitivity'. Midichlorians make you sensitive to the force. You feel it more. You feel its flow more. It essentially makes you more intuitive with force abilities. You can learn and grow with the force more easily. Evidence for this includes no only the strength of Obi-Wan, but also of force ghosts that will have 0 midichlorians, but have a sort of power of their own, or objects like holocrons that are infused with force power. Vitiate is an incredible example of powerful force users that I don't believe to have had an exceptional force sensitivity. Vitiate was cunning and had incredible charisma. He gained his incredible power by tricking a large number of extremely powerful sith to do a ritual that gave him their power. He basically ate a planet and in a sense was like Nihilus, except far more ambitious and knowledgeable in the force. Nihilus was a wound that only consumed and grew. Vitiate was of similar power but an alchemist and scholar of the force, which is why he was so utterly terrifying and why I find it utterly laughable that people think Sideous or any one other mortal force user could have matched him. He was beyond midichlorians. I'd peg Vitiate at maybe MAYBE as high as 14k. But midichloriens was never why he was so terrifying. The way I see it, the reason that someone with only maybe 1500mc can't use the force is they just fail to feel it. In theory an incredible teacher could over time slowly teach them how to touch the force, but it would be like teaching someone who is blind from birth to paint. It's not impossible, but a constant uphill struggle, and absolutely requires dedicated supervision from someone that *is* force sensitive, and it would always require intense concentration.
We don’t know the midichlorian counts from Legends characters, but regarding the feats and Intensity of their sheer power it must be insanely high. Nice speculations tho
We can guess the Midichlorian count of these characters. But according George Lucas, Luke had the same potential as his dad and that was to be a super force user. George wasn't very specific; we don't know exactly how many Ani had or anyone else for that matter. But here's what Lucas said: "And when he finds out Luke is his son, his first impulse is to figure out a way of getting him to join him to kill the Emperor. That's what Siths do! He tries it with anybody he thinks might be more powerful, which is what the Emperor was looking for in the first place: somebody who would be more powerful than he was and could help him rule the universe. But Obi-Wan screwed that up by cutting off his arms and legs and burning him up. From then on, he wasn't as strong as the Emperor -- he was like Darth Maul or Count Dooku. He wasn't what he was supposed to become. But the son could become that." --George Lucas, Rolling Stones Interview, 2005.
Midichlorian idea has some problems because it is not important only how much midichlorians per cell are present but also how much cells in general are present, we know this because Anakin/Vader lost part of his potential after losing tissue (limbs), so Kenobi, Dooku etc. could have more cells than other Jedi considering their stature, but problem begins when you see Yoda he is really small so he would have to have far fever cell's than everyone, but he was evenly matched with Sidious (or close at least), and Sidious should be having much higher number of cells wich should be sufficient to crush Yoda, next problem is that Anakin/Vader was still heavier than Yoda after he lost his limbs so he have more cell's than Yoda and all of his cells contain at least 27 000 midichlorians so 10 000 more than Yoda yet Sidious is toying with him ( yes suit is bad and he is mentally unstable, but common 10 000 is 10 000, and he is not some noob), only solution I could think about is difference in cell size, so Yoda would have to have a lot smaller cell so that their number is equal to Sidiouses, this could be somewhere realistic considering that we and all animals have cell's of nearly identical size, but we all share same ancestor (from the beginning of life on earth, not monkey stuff), but in SW universe we have species who evolved from different first ancestors (different for each planet) so this would be possible and it would explain how force sensitives with lower numbers of midichlorians with grater number of cells are able to compensate, but how realistic is that Yodas cell's contain 17 000 midichlorians, all necessary organelles and are so small that their number fits number of Sidiouses, it's problematic power scaling wit a lot to consider how good are your cell's with 18 000 if someone have x3 number of cells more than you with 14 000 midichlorians
Excellent video. I agree with most of what you said. I agree that Luke had a lower count than his father Anakin but achieved his full potential unlike his father. Anakin was the chosen one but became less after mustafar. Therefore Luke did not have to be as powerful (potentially) as Anakin to fulfill his destiny of bringing his father back to the light in order to fulfill his destiny of destroying the sith and bringing balance to the force.
There isn't enough force battles to really do the film cannon justice. Not like in other media. Especially the past force users. If the past isn't explored it's not gonna really matter about force power itself. (I can only hope to see starkiller on screen. )
Officially; At over 20,000, Anakin had 2x the potential as Palpatine and 3x that of Yoda. While Anakin as Vader, never actually achieved greater than 80% that of Palpatine’s strength. Just under that, Luke and Leia had nearly the same potential as their father. With Legends Luke becoming the most powerful Jedi, if not Force User, in recorded history. Leia would’ve been his stronger, as Luke’s connection to the Force was diminished with the loss of his hand in the same way that their father Anakin lost 40% of his connection to the Force with the loss of his other limbs on Mustafar. With the new canon, Kylo, Rey, Leia and Luke all had roughly equal potential between that of Palpatine and Anakin, (or at least equal to Palpatine’s), with Luke again having slightly less than the other three, thanks to the loss of his hand. That’s officially. --- Semi-officially: According to ‘Book of Sith’ (one of the few Legends books recognized, owned and still in reprint by Disney) a midi-chlorine count of less than 200 always resulted in death, while a count of 20,000 or higher would be an individual with the greatest potential ever recorded (prior to Anakin). But that’s now questionable under the new canon. ---- Luke is by far my favorite followed by Revan. Below that being a host of Jedi or Force Users from all eras which I would be hard pressed to rank. I see Anakin as Lucas intended him to be, a tragic figure. But, Anakin is way down in my list because he became space Hi~~er’s right hand man, and because of his belief that he could fix all of the problems of the galaxy by himself and therefor should rightfully rule it. Being the Chosen One or not, it’s hard for me to respect that.
@H4XE7 REAC7 It’s a whole body deal. If you are born with a count of say 2,000. You will alway have that short of injury or illness. And if you loose say 10% of your body, you’ve lost 10% of your connection.
We know Anakin’s potential was insanely high as even burnt and crippled he was still salvaged by Palpatine, who admitted he wouldn’t find another apprentice half as powerful. I think crippled Vader still had about 80% of Palpatine’s potential. In the game, Palpatine says Starkiller could have been his equal, so they’re roughly the same.
It seems that Anakin and Yoda are likely in a force dyad since they both were born around the same time, both are extremwly powerful, and both are extremely important on a galactic scale.
My favoriete jedi: 1. Kit fisto. Strong in its own way 2. Obi wan ( jong and old). Even wen he lost it all. He is still in the light side. A tru jedi. 3. Qui-Gon Jinn. For walking the tru pad of a jedi. He trust in the force and took the best pad. And become a force ghost. That's power.
George Lucas often didn't think things through I think, for example if Anakin had a higher count per cell (as stated in the phantom menace) then even Yoda before loosing his limbs then he should still have a higher count per cell afterwards. So by George's logic he would therefore still have more force potential because what's left of his body is still a larger area physically and therefore has more cells then Yoda still so more potential. Infact by George's logic if Anakin was 6 foot 6 he would have more potential because he would have more cells, never sat well with me.
I dont think that’s how it works… Yes Anakin still has the same m count as before. However, he was severely impaired in terms of movement and abilities after his fight with Obi wan due to his suit and missing limbs. One example of this is force lightning, which needs to travel through actual limbs. And if, in theory, he could perform force lightning, Palpatine made sure his suit would short circuit. Also, I dont think its what the midichlorians add up to in the entire body. If this were the case, at least half of the Jedi would be more powerful than Yoda. I think its more about the amount per cell rather than the total amount in the body.
@@brentf6747 I couldn't agree more but my point is that our point of views isn't shared by George Lucas who stated Vader oy has 80% of Sidious"s power after loosing so much of his body and therefore much of his connection to the force. That point of view if you follow the logic means the size of a force user matters which I think is ludicrous personally.
Cells don't quite work that way as yoda might be very dense in whatever his cells are made up of for example humans like anakin is actually made up of 60% water but if yoda might be say 5% that means he has more cells in his body per (Enter measurement here)
@@cosmicjack1215 i’d have to go back and listen to what exactly he said but I think it’s just a way of pointing out the power of vader in his current state rather than an in depth analysis of his MD and force connection. However, I can’t read george’s mind. Not trying to argue with you but that’s just how I interpret it 🧐😅
Midi chlor count is a lot like IQ, you without question have to have it but it's still up to you what you do with it. Lots of people with average IQs have accomplished amazing things.
Luke is the one with higher count Leia because he was the one that was chosen to be train by Obiwan, it is clear that Luke was the first choice and Leia was back up. Luke count most likely equals that of Anakin as George stated that Luke have the same potential as Anakin and in his prime he was the strongest of all time.
In one point of my life I was going to bring balance to the Force with my Twins and what a coincidence a Male and female they were. They was killed in association with AT&T in 2015 in Tamaulipa MX. We have higher midichlorian, it something special that not all humans have. There was a variable or something that stop to reach the level that was supposed to be. In part I know what it's were not all people's understand. The real evil it's outside and reaching every council and country like the starwars fiction stories.
Honestly, after seeing the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series i think that Obi Wan actually has a higher Midi-Chlorian count than we thought. I think he is slightly weaker than Mace Windu and Yoda, but higher than most of the Jedi. But thats just my headcanon xD
Given what I seen I would place it somewhere around 40,000 actually. That may seem like a lot but remember Anakin had twice the force potential palpatine did.
I believe that Starkiller would have been on par with Vader/ Anakin if not higher. Perhaps this is why Vader spared him originally he sensed the kids power. He brought down an imperial cruiser with just the force as we saw Vader do the same thing in Obi-wan. Also Starkiller had that super awesome force grenade that atomized anyone in a certain blast radius.
Starkiller was up there with Yoda, Sidious and Mace with his force potential, but definitely not Anakin/Vader. While it’s possible to have a high Midiclorian count without having a special linage, such as the aforementioned names, none would ever equal Anakin’s, who was literally made by the force the destroy the dark side corruption of the Sith like he was the galaxy’s antibody.
Midi-Chlorian count can measure might, but Midi-Chlorian count cannot designate who the Chosen One is. It is hinted that Leia, Luke, and Anakin had the same count; but when it came to the Chosen One, there can be only One. Midi-Chlorians _connect_ to the Force, but they're _not_ the Force itself. The Force designates and lashes out, it's a living thing. This is why it did not allow Palpatine and Plagueis to create their own being with maximum Midi-Chlorian count. If the outcome would have been the same, then it wouldn't have mattered who ended up being The Chosen One. No, it chose Shmi/Anakin for a reason in the backlash.
If what George Lucas has said is correct, and Vader has 80% potential next it Sidious, this would mean Vaders Force potential is 16,000 midichlorians. On the flip side, if we also take into speculation that Lucas said “Anakin” would have been TWICE as powerful than Sidious, (ROTS Sidious even says to Yoda before he was burned alive “Vader will become more powerful than either of us” which means both of them combined at 37,000) Anakin at his fullest potential would be sitting at a jaw dropping 40,000 midichlorians. So for all you who watched Starkiller pull down a Star Destroyer and Vader rip apart a ship in Obi-Wan, just imagine what a full potential Anakin could do🤯😳
when he said either of us, he does not mean both of us combined, he means just more powerful than both of them so dont add both og their medichlorian counts together
Midichlorians are just like IQ, I know some people that have an IQ of 180 that never tried or applied themselves to anything and they pick up on things quickly but never cared to pick up much. And I know others with 135 that think they are smarter than Einstein just because they are above the normal, and people like me that are supposedly 111 but have to read everything 3-5 times just to get things in their head, while I also know many with 85-90 that know more about things than I ever could because they took their numbers as a challenge to dig deep and fight hard to know everything they ever could about many fields of study. Midichlorians are how easy the force comes to them, not their determination & sheer will to use it, learn from it, and be shaped by it.
Dragon ball has it’s own equivalent of midichlorians in the form of s-cells. It’s why gohan, goten, and trunks were able to go super saiyan at such a young age. S-cells allow saiyan hybrids to access their hidden potential much easier. Look at Goku jr and vegeta jr.
Midichlorians are, imo, just your potential to use the Force, having a high count is not enough if you can't use it properly. The difference can be overcome with cunning, experience, etc.
The reasonable count should be Anakin - 27,000 Palpatine -21,000 Luke -20,000 Yoda- 19,000 Windu - 17,500 Darth Vader - 17,000 Count Dooku -16,500 Kenobi - 16,000 Maul - 15,000 Ashoka - 14,000 Though I think Yoda is much more powerful than what people actually guess.. He was almost as good as palpatine when they duel.. Also once Yoda lift a whole mountain with his force.. For me his mid count could be over 20,000..luke couldn't defeat Palpatine.. Vader help him to defeat palpatine. I think luke and Yoda are in same lvl of power or maybe luke is a little lower in power than Yoda.
I feel like Starkiller would be on or around the same strength as Vader and with everything he has managed to pull off despite his age I can't see him being around 20k. The dude pulled a star destroyer out of the sky

@@Sifu-Myers Yes, I agree. Although I'm not sure how midichlorian work when it comes to genetics. I feel like nihilus is mistaken. He literally ate an entire jedi council along with the entire planet of kattar . I feel like he is above an average jedi master. Maybe before malacore when he was under revan?
The reason why is because Nihilus became a wound in the force. His midichlorian count wasn’t particularly high but after the destruction of Malachor he’d practically merged with the force to become almost part of it and that gave him his massive power.
Before he became Darth Nihilus he was mostly just average. Most of his power came from the fact he was a wound in the force which amplified his power greatly.y

Anakin is off the charts. That's all you need to know. That's the whole point of him.
George Lucas said that Vader is 80% the power of Sidious, but that his potential was cut in half when he was burnt on Mustafar. If Sidious' count was 20,000 that would mean Anakin's would have been over 30,000

What matters most is living up to one’s force potential. Obi-wan had a relatively low force potential, but was able to beat Vader because he summoned his full strength when it mattered.
But there was also the weakness that Vader had within. He cant fight well against people he loved like Obi Wan or Ahsoka
(Edit)
Well that and two other things;
“Unless a Sith overwhelms there opponent early on, a Sith Lord will eventually lose to a Jedi Master… Without peace, you forget technique.” That and one’s strength in the Force is meaningless if it’s not the Will of the Force.
Yes I agree with that. Obi's love 💕 was his strength.
I really want to see a “Star Wars what if” series and see how powerful would a full potential Anikan/Vader would’ve been like.

I personally believe Anakin''s midichlorian count is much higher than usually speculated. A lot of people state that Anakin's original potential was twice that of Palpatine which would place him in the 35,000 to 40,000 midichlorian range and after his mustafar demise he is said to 80% the potential of Palpatine putting him at about 16,000 midichlorians, but thats just my take on it.
him being cut in half wouldn't take down his force potential because the midichlorian count is per cell, not total
I agree with your comment overall though, I always placed anakin at around 32000 in my head canon, just felt like the right number to me
@@arcerionmusic It wouldn't reduce his midichlorian count but him being cut in half would reduce the amount of cells he has, therefore reducing his overall midichlorians. But yes even after being burnt, cut and suited up he'd still have around 35,000 midichlorians, just not many cells
@@pandet actually I don't know whether that really matters. like for example, yoda has a smaller mass than most other jedi, and his midichlorian count checks out with his strength
this is actually a really interesting question though, I'll have to research this
@@arcerionmusic yes its a weird one that doesn't seem to stay very consistent. i guess vader's ''80% potential of palpatine'' after mustafar extends to his armour limiting his movement and other functions but im not sure
Pretty much why Obi-Wan was such a threat as a Jedi, despite having a low midichlorian count
A low midichlorian count can’t hold back effective training, dedication, and effort in improving one’s abilities. Just like a high midichlorian count can’t compensate for poor training, dedication, and lack of effort.
Totally, well, high midichlorian count can kinda compensate a little bit,but not that much
Then what happens when one with a high count does effective training & hard work? Don't they just become a fricken powerhouse?

I think Obi-wan is the Kakashi of the Star Wars universe. Not the most force power or chakra, but an excellent teacher who became great through effort and wisdom.
I am the Midichlorian Master!
But the son could become that."
--George Lucas, Rolling Stones Interview, 2005.
It’s over 30,000!!!! 🤯

Excellent video. I agree with most of what you said. I agree that Luke had a lower count than his father Anakin but achieved his full potential unlike his father. Officially;
At over 20,000, Anakin had 2x the potential as Palpatine and 3x that of Yoda.
---
Semi-officially:
According to ‘Book of Sith’ (one of the few Legends books recognized, owned and still in reprint by Disney) a midi-chlorine count of less than 200 always resulted in death, while a count of 20,000 or higher would be an individual with the greatest potential ever recorded (prior to Anakin).
But that’s now questionable under the new canon.
----
Luke is by far my favorite followed by Revan.

He may have been below average, but The Negotiator will always be my favorite.
Nah. Anakin's dad is literally The Force.
The Bendu must be up there in his count :)
Imagine if Vader never got burnt and retained all his potential
As in real life
Hard work usually beat out talent that won’t work
i dont get where you get the "obi wan is below average", hes above average based on what few source we have.
If what George Lucas has said is correct, and Vader has 80% potential next it Sidious, this would mean Vaders Force potential is 16,000 midichlorians. On the flip side, if we also take into speculation that Lucas said “Anakin” would have been TWICE as powerful than Sidious, (ROTS Sidious even says to Yoda before he was burned alive “Vader will become more powerful than either of us” which means both of them combined at 37,000) Anakin at his fullest potential would be sitting at a jaw dropping 40,000 midichlorians. when he said either of us, he does not mean both of us combined, he means just more powerful than both of them so dont add both og their medichlorian counts together
@@JaydontPlay124 😂 It was an exaggeration lol but if u do put their midichlorian counts together he still bests both of them combined
make what if Anakin was trained by Qui Gon part 3
Then Starkiller just walk by like..I can make a Star Destroyer omelet.
How are you able to crank out content like you do? Absolutely amazing
Always something to talk about w/Star Wars.
History of the Gonk droid, there I just came up w/a new video for content
Midichlorians are, imo, just your potential to use the Force, having a high count is not enough if you can't use it properly. The difference can be overcome with cunning, experience, etc.
The reasonable count should be
Anakin - 27,000
Palpatine -21,000
Luke -20,000
Yoda- 19,000
Windu - 17,500
Darth Vader - 17,000
Count Dooku -16,500
Kenobi - 16,000
Maul - 15,000
Ashoka - 14,000
Though I think Yoda is much more powerful than what people actually guess..
Definitely not
I feel like Starkiller would be on or around the same strength as Vader and with everything he has managed to pull off despite his age I can't see him being around 20k. The dude pulled a star destroyer out of the sky
george lucas said Luke was the strongest Jedi that ever lived. ill trust the creator.
To me I feel anakin should always have the highest count being the chosen one Luke and Leia to me shouldn't come close maybe a few thousand less *just my opinion
I mean... They're his children. So them being really powerful does make sense. More powerful? That's were I would disagree.
@@baskeplaye009 oh yes I 100% agree with you. Him being the chosen one alone should make sure he's always the strongest. But logically it also makes sense Padme being not nearly as gifted obviously means the children wouldn't have any extra boost. I think personally that's why I always felt Anakin got shorted in the story since he never got to do all the crazy things Luke did. I'm sure Anakin would have done that and more if he had the chance
@@Sifu-Myers Yes, I agree. Although I'm not sure how midichlorian work when it comes to genetics. It could be like eye or skin color where one is more recessive and the other is dominant, therefore Padme's genes doesn't affect too much when it comes to inheriting power. Or it could be like height where you could inherit anything from any of your parents. And Yes, I agree that Anakin should've showcased his immense power in the movies (He does in the TV show though), and after his fight in Mustafar.. well he didn't have quite that potential anymore, nor did he reach it (He was actually quite far from reaching it). And look exceeded whatever limit both Anakin and DV reached.
@@baskeplaye009 yeah it's pretty unclear. I wouldn't doubt there's some explanation on it. I mean we would only know if it's either stated or if we saw full power Anakin and compared them. Yeah I mean I would be down for what what if spin off seeing him at full power. Yeah that does make sense
IT'S OVER 9000!
All I am gonna say
The Eternal emperors midichlorian count is 40k+ While leading TEE and while leading TSE/TSO - 20k+
Naga Sadow and the sith of his age would LAUGH at Palpatine! Hell, didn't the spirits on Korriban mock him? So yeah, he isn't all that super strong - then again: All force users of his era somehow pale in comparison to the older Jedi and Sith!
Wonder what Pre Disney Luke's was? He more or less became a Super (Saiyan) Jedi when fighting Abaloth.
Isn’t Ezra Bridger’s in the range of between 18,000 & 19,000?
Lets seperate how much power from the Midiclorians is being used and how much potential there is.
Not linear as Luke obviously became a lot more than twice as strong as Sidious in legends, more like 100 times.
Lets use Anakin being at over 20,000 for basis
Vader being at best 20% weaker than Sidious will only equal 200 points less than Sidious for the non linear increase to work
Starkiller Clone-9,200
TFU2 Vader-9,250
EP4 Vader-9,475
Stated stronger than Anakin and Mustafar Anakin/Vader but much weaker than his Knightfall self
Knightfall Vader-9,680
Comparable but notably weaker than ROTS Sidious
EP5 Vader-9,690
Stated to be at the height of his power and as strong as he has ever been
EP6 Luke-9,740
Stated to be perhaps stronger than Anakin and as a better option for Sidious than even Anakin
Nearly equal to Vader
EP6 Vader-9,760
Vitiate-9,780
EP3 Mace Windu-9,787
Stated nearly equal to Yoda
Yoda-9,796
ROTS Palpatine-9,800
ROTJ Palpatine-10,000
FP Galen Marek-10,100
FP Vader(No psychological issue holding him back)-10,200
Dark Empire Sidious-10,750
End Of Dark Empire Luke-10,760
FP Leia-19,900
FP Anakin(Post Genosis)-20,000
Grandmaster Luke-20,000(stated to be>= the potential of EP3 Anakin)
Legacy Of Force Invincible Darth Caedus-20,000+(many things show and even say he surpassed Luke)
FP Anakin(Pre Genosis/lost an arm)-Over 20,000
Oneness Luke-21,800
Abeloth-22,000(Weakened Avatar)
The Daughter-500,000
The Son-500,000
Abeloth(Full Power)-900,000
Fulcrum of The Force Anakin(Mortis)-950,000
The Father(Prime)-1,000,000
Bedlam Spirits- 25,000,000
Aeons-650,000,000
Nakhash-13,000,000,000
Son of Suns Anakin-25,000,000,000
Supreme Maker-50,000,000,000
I just enjoy crazy math dont mind me
In, my fantasy universe, my Midichlorin is slightly less then Yoda. At, about 17000 per Cell. Thanks, to it my abilities rival that of Yodas and Windu.
