    I decided to start learning French a couple of days ago, and your channel was one of the first that appeared. The way you teach is clear, detailed, and really fun to listen to. Yesterday I completed the pronunciation course, and now I'm halfway done with this course, but I'll be going back to both courses often. This might sound silly, but do you have a video about how to install and use the French keyboard? I watched some videos, but I can't type the different accents. I also installed a lot of French newspapers, and I'm trying to write down new words, immerse myself in the language, and practice my listening skills. It makes me happy that I am able to read some easy sentences in such a short time. I'm having a blast, and I can't wait to dive deeper into the language.

      Thank you so much for choosing my channel for your French learning journey 🥰 Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with the keyboard as I am terrible with this. Thankfully I am better at teaching than technology tho ;)

    Allô Dylane! À 1:53 vous ditez « il regarde par la fenêtre» means «He is looking by the window »
    Does this mean he is looking near (by) the window, or did you mean to say he is looking through the window (en dehors)?
    Merci beaucoup pour les leçons très intéressant et utile. Je les aime!

      Pardon, une autre question: à 2:26 vous ditez que « venir par » means « to come by»
      The phrase « to come by » has two meanings en anglais: « to come over » and « to find or get [something] » I assume that venir par has the first meaning, correct?

      I was thinking that I would love it if you wrote a book that covers everything taught after every lesson, in the form of role-plays, conversations, readings, and stories to consolidate what we've learned so far from your books. I just love reading and think it's a very effective way to memorize vocabulary and grammar in context. I know that this would sure be more oriented towards intermediate and advanced learners, though.

    Dylane, so you have "D'après" and "Selon" meaning "according to", are they interchangeable or have their rightful place in a sentence? Oh and "Ça compte pour du beurre" blew my brains out 🤣

    Bonjour Dylane I just recieved my book today but i have a question on a past lesson. Why do we have to use the preposition à to say c'est à toi when c'est = it is/this is and toi is the pronoun. Why the extra word

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  3 роки тому

      Salut Renee :)
      It comes from "être à = to belong to" - C'est à toi = this is yours
      But if we look at "c'est toi" without the preposition, it means it's you. Does it make sense?

    • @rldsmith86

    "You should put on a helmet to ride a scooter" when translated "Tu devrais mettre un casque pour faire de la trottinette." why " Pour" is used in sentence??

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  2 роки тому

      Unfortunately this is just the way the sentence is built: mettre quelque chose pour faire quelque chose

      Tu mets ta veste pour ne pas avoir chaud
      I hope it helps :)
