It's great to see the younger generation appreciate this music. They were also known as the Blue Eyed Soul Bros because they sang from their hearts and souls. Actually Bobby Hatfield had the tenor voice and Bill Melody was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic. They had a charisma that no other duo had. I think you really love the music I grew up with
I love watching this songs. I remember watching my Mom and Dad dancing to this song and they even use to dance in the grocery stores when this song would come on in the stores. People use to watch thrm dance til it was done. I miss them so much. Dad passed in 2007 and Mom in 2014...

They played a venue in Los Angeles, and when they had finished one of their songs, a couple of black guys stood up and said "that's righteous, brother!" From then on they became the Righteous Brothers and so began the singing style known as "blue eyed soul". Basically, white guys with soul. They definitely had SOUL.
