A disapora Palestinian here who's my grandparents were born in Jaffa long time ago before the war. I'm against targeting any civilian from any side including Israeli citizens of course. We were taught in Arab countries to hate jews/Israelis. But when I talked and had the opportunity to create some conversations with many Israelis, I found out that what we've learned was wrong. Many of them don't hate us, don't want us "dead", or any of these sick ideas. What happend in the past happened. We both did mistakes, but we have nothing to do with it now. When we say this in an Arab society it causes huge troubles and I was verbally attacked many times because of it, but I want everyone to know that there are many people of us who are against this, but it's dangerous to speak out. I feel so sorry for anyone who died since 7/10 whether they were Israeli or Palestinians. I want to give them a huge endless hug.

With full rights, you are under no one rule.
Israel need to change its face from Jewish state to state of its citizens, and apply the right of return when it will be safe for Israeli jews. It might take a long time but it should be the goal at the end.

Really sad. The other day a video showed one bereaved Palestinian woman, crying over a dead body, lashed out at Hamas for a moment. So even if all Palestinians and Israelis would magically reach mindfulness tomorrow, and become completely secular atheists and humanists. You still have those 60-80 years to get through, *WITHOUT* any further bloodshed, before I, at least, would say that a possibility of lasting peace, is a likely prospect. Yes.. Corey's question asked "why do resistance operations target civilians" and it was translated almost every time as "amaliyaat istishaadiya" aka suicide missions. That is not what Corey was asking about.

As an Arabic speaker I noticed the interpreter is kind of disingenuous when translating the questions and wording them in a way that influences a biased answer.
Although this is extremely scary to hear this answer from them, they are more honest than the interviewees on Piers Morgan who went round and round with their answers trying to create ambiguity to the international audience in order to get their naive support.

The video will be diffrent based on who you ask, if you ask people in Ashkelon they will be against it (rightfully), if you ask people in Tel Aviv they will be for peace.

9:12 i have seen Interviews too about the same situation that he was saying, when I searched Hostages interviews. Now when I think about it, it doesn't make sense when some of the People were taken hostages and some were left alone. A lot of things doesn't add up to me. I have my own theory.
One Theory is that the Israeli Nationalist Side could have something to do with these rumours being spread. It is very weird that it took them over 6 hours to respond, to send any help there and eventhough a day before the People got warned by Hamas to leave the Villages when a day before they burned the fields so that they know.
And at the same time another reason I can see is that Hamas Fighters themselves could have different ideologies, some are more extreme than others. Some would kill innocent people because for them there are no innocent people, because they are all occupying their land and some others would treat the hostage not with physical torture.

Israelis have overwhelming conventional force, the capacity to continually annex territory (which they use), and political alternatives to violent action if they so choose. Palestine has none of these avenues at present, and hasn't for a long time. I'm not justifying these attacks, but it's not really equivalent. If all Palestinians stopped violent attacks tomorrow, and agreed to resolve the conflict peacefully, it wouldn't get them a state. (Whereas the Israeli government has had this option for the last 30 years at least, and has simply chose to prefer military occupation instead.) Israel for a long time has had the choice of land or peace, and chosen land. For many Palestinians, there is no choice. I doubt random acts of violence will get them their state of course, especially on civilian targets, but neither will sitting around peacefully either, and desperate people perform desperate acts.

As Israel was about to normalise relations with Saudi before the 7th attack I think the opposite is true. A Palestinian state was dead in the water on the 6th, now it all everybody is talking about. Both Hamas and the far right Israeli government of Netanyahu are not the people who'll make peace..
Their fate is not tragic in the slightest. The lands experienced a change of ruler and because they were jews, they committed to a jihad. Just thought I'd add that "palestinians" claim someone occupied their land. Now there never was a land called Palestine and the arabs living under the British Mandate of Palestine were a hotch-potch mixture of arabs from all over who had wandered in to the area over the centuries plus those who had migrated there to work for the British. So not a homogenous group and in no way an ethnic group and they lived in a British colony with jews and samaritans and druze. Not their land. And those who became refugees after the war the neighbouring arab states waged on the jews/Israel after being offered a part of the British mandate were told by their allies to leave their homes as they could come back to them once the jews were exterminated. Well the arabs lost that war and those who'd left their homes became refugees and now call themselves "palestinians"

The league of nations already partitioned the land of Palestine into Trans-Jordan (Arab Palestine) and Jewish Palestine. Which both claimed independence changing their national identity to Jordan and Israel
And yet? there are MORE Arabs citizens in 1/900th of the Middle East than in 1948 from the river to the sea.
