What a good girl. She's a true patriot, and her mother too.
Her mother is a wonderful person, too. She raised her daughter well.
I am none religious and I find this young lady's story so heartening. Why, because she and so many others are demonstrating that in unity there is strength and fortitude. My sincere compliments to all young people that cast aside the indoctrination of religion and think for themselves and decide to improve their lives and the lives of others.
In this case it was prolly her Christian faith that compelled her to enlist. Not all ideas and religions are the same.

This is the truest example of Democracy! When a young Arab Christian women feels the need to serve a country that can at times not be so understanding to those that are not Jewish, she sees through all of that and serves her country. Bravo young lady you are a true hero!

Despite the possible ostracism she might face, as many Arabs with "pro-Zionist" tendencies do, she hasn't flinched (and I'm glad she has the support of her family, which sometimes doesn't happen).

My dad was in IDF intelligence during the war in Lebanon, he was stationed in southern Lebanon where he trained druze on how to use intelligence equipment, great guys, I remember in 2006 when he returned as a reservist he came back and would give me some food he got from the druze there, was always delicious

Smart woman. Gratitude is not a fault. Israel is the land where she was born, where she was educated, where she was nurtured. It's a land where she enjoys full civil rights and a place where she can trust to raise a family with dignity, where she can ecucate that family and have choices. The fact that she recognizes this is a credit to her and says something positive about her maturity. People who want to criticize her are limited in their vision because they have been raised a on a steady diet of hate whereas this woman has the good sense to set hate aside as a pointless and worthless exercise and decided to serve a country that given her a good life and a life that no arab country could provide. I'm really glad to see videos like this. The world is so steeped in ignorance and the sad part is that much of the world is determined to remain ignorant of what Israel is all about. May God bless and protect the IDF and the nation of Israel.
Listening about this young patriot reminded me of a Swedish family we met on holidays this year. One of their daughters was, on return to Sweden, heading off on her national service at 19 years old. She was excited about it and looking forward to serving her country. Her parents her so proud of her. On our return to UK we saw on the news young people in multi coloured hair lying on roads blocking traffic, disrupting sporting events, damaging art, spraying paint on buildings and now supporting terror organisations.
Something needs to change. No. A lot of things need to change in the UK. At the top of the list, at least 3/4 of the present parliament would be a good start. Replaced with patriotic people of conviction and not afraid to speak it.
We could make a start by getting people off benefits. I cannot understand (unless you are unwell) that you can just roll up to a job centre and get benefits. I think benefits should be a payment for you doing something! Go and work for the farmers picking fruit, get a wage at the end of the day for doing so. Become a carer, get a wage at the end for doing so. Volunteer at a food bank, get a wage for doing so..... the list of work opportunities goes on and on. Don't just give benefits to people who sit around all day smoking and watching TV!
