Tokyo ghoul is one of my favorite anime but it ends so fast. I want more tokyo ghoul episode. But the literally destroy tokyo ghoul to compress the whole manga. I don't know why the did this. It's a biggest mistake made by company. If they take time and make more details then tokyo ghoul is going to be one of the best anime till date (sorry for bad english)

When I first watched Tokyo Ghoul Season 1
..I was like fully addicted...Every times,I only watched Tokyo Ghoul...but when I watched Tokyo Ghoul √A...I was like:
WHAT THE........?
Then I calmed down and thought, season 3 will be better. Then I saw some characters from Season 3 before watching the episodes..I thought...wait? WHERE'S KANEKI AND TOKA HERE? THEY GOT NO PARTS HERE? WHERE IS YOSHIMURA? WHATTTT? Then I understood,,,,,KANEKI ACTUALLY DIED AT THE END OF SEASON 2, and that really disappointed me! You are correct...season 1 was the best one..I thought this anime is going to be SO GOOD cuz of its first season. But.....I was so upset..because of the other seasons. None of them were OK😭 only because of that...this anime is completely distracted. That's why I don't watch the other episodes now..

I don't think that low budget is the problem, but most of Studio Pierrot's anime has problems because they act on their own.

I always knew Tokyo Ghoul had great potential and the Anime isn't providing justice to the actual story.
It had such a beautiful dark fantasy storyline alas :(
But the background music and op/end music are also next level.
Also bleach was always a great anime but with the fillers and season 15-16 made it's actual worth go down.

And they didn't really show the part where it's revealed that his mother physically beat him and that he wasn't mentally sane from the start

I watched 1st season of Tokyo ghoul and the first few episodes were amazing but, as I continued watching every episode, it got worst. Yeah, I agree the audio of the print that I watched was trash but still, I didn't like the series at all. Waste of time. I haven't read the manga though.

The beginning episodes are mind blowing and the story was going well but then it was ruined!!! A lot of things are not fully explained and it broke its fans' hearts
Well, imo, its still a better anime! If you just talk the whole thing, then it might seem complicated and things might seem a little complicated and you may lose interest. But, if you just focus on the life of Ken Kaneki, then you will understand that only his life story, the things he went through, we enough to give this anime the popularity it gained. If only they had made it less complicated and focused more on Kaneki, then it had the potential to be one of the greatest animes. Still, I love it and still it is one of my favs.
