FACTS!! And probably 40% of their STAFF they got working all over the world. A bunch of people probably who guilty of running computer scams and frauds at some point in their lives. A bunch of fraud and people willing to do it, all hired by companies that allow fraud and end up in court with FINES paying for the fraud they've had these people willfully doing while on the clock for these apps.

Yup! You know Uber offering a low rate, so they been getting declined!
Uber knows it can’t survive if they pay drivers fairly, or even $1 per mile which is what all drivers should be getting per mile at the least. If all the drivers drew a line in the sand, they lose everything.
Drivers are drawing that line by doing cash rides. They see it happening. Were done begging. We have the car keys. We make up the market rates, not Uber.
I enjoy taking money from Uber and Lyft,just because concert goes always asking ask if they can request me on the app to be picked up after the concert. I always laugh in my mind and say OK there we go time to make some some cash now and they always down for it.🎉😊

Even Dara admitted it on video - and I did a video on it: their goal to staying profitable is to have less driver incentives and to pay drivers less. HE SAID IT was the key to profitability, so who are we to say it's not?? We see it. We see we aren't making as much as we did - and we see Uber and Lyft making record profits.
Therefore, these apps CANNOT SURVIVE being "ride finding tech". They have to be criminals via stealing tips and fares in order to survive. I feel that.
But you are 100% correct in saying they are top heavy; we all see that and it's disgusting how much these execs and politicians are making on SLAVES while we're out here destroying cars and not being able to fix our work vehicles while still paying bills. Hell yeah!! I converted all my ride from Uber and lyft I saw a big difference from $150 for 12 hrs to $300 for 8hrs and driving x flat form, lyft and Uber is my bitch now lol! Thank you Jeff for giving me a confidence to do this that really helps me and my brother a lot we are the 300!!

So I’ve been locked from Uber rides for about 2 months now. First they said my MVR showed suspended license…they ran an old license from another state, so when I pointed that out 3 days later that report cleared. Then, they said they were waiting on HireRight to complete a criminal background report. Ok, when that also cleared, they said that Checkr was unable to contact me at my email address provided. But…Uber can send me these emails telling me all this just fine. Still waiting to be reactivated on rides. I deleted the Uber app and I’m just doing Lyft and private rides now. Uber can have that shit.

I think they're doing all they can to kick good drivers off the apps to make space for illegals who wanna rent cars. They are purposely trying to dry up the driver market to give the illusion that there are no drivers in certain regions. It's just that they're finding ways to keep us off the apps. That's fine. We're doing private rides more than app rides, some days. If they dont wanna pay, they're gonna be the ones suffering when riders are leaving the platforms for drivers that are consistent and reliable.

The 4 elements of a contract Capacity (Fraud in the inducement is in this element), Consideration, Acceptance, & Legality.
Uber violates 2 of these legality & capacity. Most people who are desperate are not thinking rationally therefore they don’t have the capacity to comprehend this contract. They are violating legality due to the Sherman Antitrust Act & Labor Laws. Uber/Lyft, etc knowingly violate these laws because they know that if no one goes after them then its legal.

You could have earned $3,500 doing less miles, less risk, less wear and tear when we do it without Uber robbing us. They literally charged you $2k in one month for commercial insurance and "setting you up with rides". Literally making more than an attorney would get a cut of, and attorneys actually do something for you.
We can have our own insurance for $700/month and pocket the rest. Thing is, the amount you made TOTAL would be reached doing half the driving you did. I was doing $40 rides today that were for 6 miles. Private rides.
That's the level we need to focus on if we're gonna sustain ourselves. There are guys out here getting $100 to Literally wait in one spot and drive for 9 mins. The people are out there, and we gotta find them.
Keep up the safe driving and get some business cards made up, Robby. You can drive less, make more, and do it safer than Uber throwing 40 people per day in our cars who SOME they don't even do background checks on.

Yup. I worked the whole time til the temp tags went out. I had the permanent tags already on the car before they went out too. Registration and insurance never lapsed and always been valid.

It's worse now in NYC because the apps are saying the TLC won't let drivers log on when they want to. Literally keeping them out of the market on purpose. This is so they can drive up demand and reduce supply, hoping it adjusts the pay for drivers. All the apps need to do is stop lying and cheating people. That would make it better, but they can't do that. I bet if they really left Minnesota, the drivers would be getting paid more and the riders would be paying less, RIGHT NOW! NYC is the same. If the apps left, the market would adjust. Right now, investors want the money out of NYC. They're taking money out of the community.

I converted airport rides and turned down everything that paid less than two dollars a mile.. ohhhh… and they kept trying to send me trips that were 20 minutes away in the opposite direction back-and-forth… so your strategies have taught me a lot and I doubled my money last week.. do you think I care about driving score 😂😂😂

The timing is suspect for sure, if not.
They jammed me up one year for 3 weeks. That’s when I signed up for Lyft after 3 yrs only Uber . Lyft uses the same company and my check was back in literally 9 minutes. Uber came back 2 weeks later. Turns out the check was complete all along and they blamed it on , wait for it….. a glitch! Lol.
On a good note, averaging $2.60 for every mile driven this summer. No HUM pings. 10% Lyft, 5% Uber, 35% conversions and 50 private. They are taking full advantage of low volume and max pigeons this summer. Im only accepting what appears to be convertible. Residents, resort folks on travel expense accounts are bad odds. They aren’t paying for it out of pocket.
This is my 1st background in 5yrs of driving (since my initial background). Annual is yearly, so they missed 4 backgrounds in a row. Hahaha

They background checked you in Hawaii probably because someone in that state has your same name and d.o.b and (God forbid) your SSN!! I know it's frustrating when the background check is running and they don't allow you to go online. Been there, done that. If anything pops up that you think is inaccurate, just reach out to Checkr (or whatever company did the background check).
They started the check on June 5th. I drove on Uber up to June 11th, which was the day the temporary dealership plates expired. I had new plates, and they are saying the car isn't a model.acceoted on Uber.
I drove the whole background check period. Never knew they were doing one til I opened my email and saw they just finished it.

Last year I was blocked for a whole month because I tried to replace my temporary paper (drivers) license with the official hard copy. (In MA we get a valid temporary paper drivers license until the official one comes in the mail when you renew your license). I had the same experience with Uber reaching out like, "Please come back online" or some sh!t - 30 days later! I was like, fuck y'all! So I know the frustration.
@@RSPBK That's EXACTLY what's going on now! But they have the same license and registration valid for UberEats, but not for rides? How can my plates and insurance be good in HALF of the system? That's where they're not making sense. They can't say why. They said TWICE, "...we're escalate it to another dept.", and I never heard back. When they said it the second time, I just took matters into my own hands.
Lucky for me, I have HUM to convert riders to. I dont necessarily NEED to use Uber. I just use them as a lead generating service now, because I can't have the truck that's NOT on the app drive around passengers who were looking for a BMW. It doesn't match.
But HUM says it's ok to drive them on their app in the truck. LOL! Easy fix.

The agreements may not be legal, but the states and local gov in the states can challange there legal ''agreements'' because it was intrapment from the start!!!! Thats why these apps are always paying out in class action lawsuits!!!!

I had a trip where it looked super funny because it was high for the short distance. I actually tried to call the rider, but it said the number was not in service, so I started the trip while I was on my way to the store to pick them up. Hahahaha! I locked the ride in and they couldn't cancel it. Pulled up and it was an actual ride...a group of kids leaving the movies.

Already, Dino. These apps are up to something shady and they know drivers are letting riders know. WE ARE RIDESHARE. WE are the industry. These apps are just TECH that have tapped into our industry. They dont OWN rideshare, and riders are learning that. We have a right to get our own insurance and run our own small business OFF their app. If they dont pay us, then we run our business without them being involved in the transaction.

They cannot force us into silence and submission, as we are INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS and not their employees.

Just telling people the REAL out there. Folks usually be posting nothing but, "...this is my earnings...I'm doing better than everyone...I'm #1." At this point, we've all done rideshare to know if you drive 84hrs with a high AR, you're gonna make $2k. We're trying to make $2k in about 30hrs of driving. Less risk on the road. Less people we gotta deal with. More money.
Therefore, my videos are deeper about HOW WE DRIVE and WHAT'S GOING ON to keep money from us. We shouldn't have to drive 84hrs every week for the rest of our lives just to afford rent. That's insane.

They out here trying us, brotha. They are seeing drivers wake up to the BS they've been doing with lowering the rates more and more, and now drivers are standing up and going directly to the riders. Riders love it!!! Business cards and text messages all the time because they don't trust Uber and Lyft will send them a vehicle like this, with a cool driver.
Once a rider find a driver/vehicle they like, it's a wrap. So many drivers I know are doing DAILY private rides and scheduled rides like crazy! I love it!!! We are taking our markets back!

Thanks Boba! Man, that's a great compliment, my man. I just know that we have prisons full of felons who are eventually deemed INNOCENT when the real evidence is weighed years later. We're one of the only countries who exonerate prisoners who were innocent, but we still treat them like they were guilty. Real talk, and I don't make that up. Is Trump innocent? I don't know because they suppressed a lot of evidence in his trial, and even the judges admitted they did because they didn't want that evidence at trial. Crazy how law/court works, but that's what it is.

OK. WTF. Dude, you sounding paranoid AF. I'm in the Boston market and we all get enhanced background checks over here. State; Federal; National Sxx Offender Registry. It's a deep dive. It's not personal. Maybe they're finally doing this in all states. The only complaint I've had with that is that Uber/Lyft would prevent you from going online while the background check is running, even though you've been driving for them for several years already. That is one reason why drivers should sign up for BOTH Uber and Lyft - while Uber background is running you can do Lyft. While Lyft is running, you can do Uber. Also, that enhanced search might also reveal if someone in another state is using your identity (identity theft). I'm in MA but mine revealed some felon in TN with the same name and d.o.b.
Tip for drivers: Mark your calendar when the background check is run so you know when to expect it.
They still let me drive while the check was going. They won't let me drive NOW, which is comedy. But I got a video coming out about how people find it better that Uber won't let my truck online
Everyone does get a background check each year but the enhanced is only in the Massachusetts market

@wayro70 These apps are scampering to make adjustments to drivers that are waking up to the INDEPENDENT CONTACTOR laws in place. These apps are scared of the conversions and the negotiations going on with riders. They are scared to see drivers with their own commercial insurance and FOR HIRE permits.
They pushed us into a corner. We tried to ask for better rates, but they laughed and kept lowering rates. Now we use their own tech against them. We find out where the riders are and we go negotiate our OWN rates. And they can't claim THEY control market prices for rides because the MARKET is what riders are willing to pay versus what drivers are willing to accept.
Riders and drivers control the market. The tech just lets each party know that a ride is needed. We'll take it from there. The apps could participate in the money we make, but fck em. We gave them a chance. Now they can watch their revenues drop as our revenues go up. ALL riders are gonna eventually be ok with paying less to a driver, and drivers are gonna see the benefit in not driving for pennies when a rider is willing to pay a fair price directly to them. Any driver not seeing that is an idiot who deserves what the apps are paying them.
Just asking how come you didn’t take Uber to court on you not being able to drive using your SUV? They have a list of cars that can be approved. Set the example and show other drivers you can take them to court you have fuel put it out there!

1. Court proceedings take a long time but with all your previous videos from Uber stealing tips, throttling your hours, and now taking you off the platform you should’ve been filed in court let’s be honest.
2. If you’re being a driver advocate set the example of showing others the way of going through the steps. Sure you can speak on it time and time again about antitrust laws and this and that but let’s be real not a single thing is being done about it. The latest lawsuit was in 2022 about that topic and still hasn’t been settled and doubt it’ll be in the upcoming years.
3. Remember you said you got lawyers for all of that. Uber or LYFT will continue to keep doing the same thing over and over appreciate you for spreading awareness but it’s not hurting their bottom line. They’re counter acting private rides with giving riders discounts so even if you say a price they say they paid less than that which is true

I could see the reason for updating a background check just to make sure you've done nothing wrong since your initial background check. That way they keep riders safe. But is that the reason though or are they specifically targeting you?
What happens if you put the BMW on? Are you allowed to do rides then? I think you need commercial insurance for Uber Black & SUV, but you don't need it for Lyft Black & SUV.

You do need commercial for Uber Black. I am on Uber Comfort and XL, and have been the entire time I've had the truck on Uber. Zero issues with my insurance or my registration up until the temp tag ran out. I sent the new tag (never lapsed) and then they invalided my registration AND my insurance - that were both previously allowing me to drive Comfort and XL.
The BMW is still open for rides. Same insurance. Same state of registration. Zero issues.
And what's funny is that if ANYONE does a crime while doing Uber - and is convicted - wouldn't common sense show that I wouldn't be online for the period of time I was in jail? LOL! I've been online for 5yrs with no jail time, so what crime could I have done to the point of being kicked off the app that didn't require jail time? Is NOT PAYING LIBRARY CARD FEES the new crime that people are doing under the radar LOL!

I have to admit I have had a problem with HUM two days in a row now with doing rides off the app & Anna (our support person) has been awesome to work with. You don't get that with uber or lyft because there is no support from them just a bunch of AI chat-bots. Which is another reason why you aren't being able to do rides because something probably trip a caution in thier AI algorithms.
And that's just it these apps cheapend thier product by trying to keep the bottom line low so they could make bigger profits.
I see that!! Uber sent out an email for 30% off any ride $20 or more. That's $6 off a ride, so instead of giving the DRIVER 30% more PER RIDE, they would rather tell a rider, "...we'll make it cheaper for you."
How the hell you reduce price by 30%, but you can't just pay the driver MORE if you dont really need the money that bad? They're doing it to retain customers when they should be thinking of retaining DRIVERS. We can always beat any price out there, OR we can leave the rider standing to the point where they'll be pissed enough to not care about the low Uber price because NO DRIVER is coming. At that point, the rider is paying WHATEVER IT TAKES to get in a car and get outta there.
Cash rides can't be fcked with if drivers are smart. We set the rates and we indicate who gets in our cars. Uber has very little power, which is why they threaten smart drivers.

Facts. And that's how these apps are staying in the game: minimizing American support by closing locations and having people overseas do the work. We see it ALL the time! Anytime you go thru support, the names are all from India. Uber has outsourced the integrity of the support system drivers need. They don't know anything about America nor our costs of living or lifestyle, yet they support us? Come on now. We see the game as being bullshit. How can someone support you if they dont know shit about you? We're just TOOLS to them.
24:27 can't say it enough. I love those people. I play music for my privates. I play Jeff or nothing for my Ubers. Tips vary for private but they've gone as high as 250% of the fare. Since I've told riders not to tip on the app and if they have no other way to tip other than the app please dont leave me anything at all ive seen as high as 120% of the fare on an Uber ride. Again thats not the average, but im definitely averaging $5 for a tip on a local uber X ride where the app never passed on more than $1 average

@@MicDropBBQ Terre Haute Indiana (for hire) just got a new casino 2 months ago and I got one guy he likes to gamble. So it's 2:30am and he tells me "here's $100. I maybe in there for 10 minutes. I maybe in for 4 hours. Go do your rides. Just come get me when I call to go back home." Which home is 9 minutes away. So I drove him 10 minutes to the casino and 9 minutes home. He was in the casino for 40 minutes.
@Fred63205 Btotha, your stories always make me realize how much we're taken advantage of. You find the best people! And the app would charge this dude surge and all - and he'll pay it because he has the money - and the driver would be getting $6-8 each way.
You are showing value and flexibility. Thus is why you get those kinda rides. You are not in a rush because you don't need to be $100 for less than 20mins of driving, and didn't take up much of your day even with him in the casino.
This is why we all need to talk to our riders and be involved more. The apps are exploiting the shit out of us and using us for our value to pad THEIR pockets.
$100 is a day's pay for certain days. You did it that quick...and still had all day to do more.

Anyway if people are trying "if you have to leave the tip on the app then please don't leave me anything at all" line and it's not working it's because I can tell them on here what I say, but I'd have to explain how i say it. My way wouldn't work in the city because my strength here is I'm willing to go way later than any other driver and I don't think that, I know that.
During my sales pitch aka my commercial Uber Ride I talk down to the customer. I let them know I have credentials Class A CDL, Doubles/Triples, X-Tank, and Hazmat. I've driven more miles than I care to count. I ask them if they want a random car with a random driver, or do they want a clean car (always spotless at all times with a new smell thanks to my ozone generator) with a safe and truly professional driver. Early is on time, on time is late, and late is you're fired.
People have to know their strengths, weaknesses, and advantages. I have a separate phone with a different number that I pay for and I let them know that. My work phone is on 7 days a week 24 hours a day and I tell them straight up if I'm up to it. I tell them the commercial Uber ride is just BS and I'm throwing away money just to gain clients and aside from gaining clients that ride is money lost, but if they want a driver that willing to go untill 7am sleep a few hours, and resurrect them self for a ride a few hours later im there guy and they wont find another because there is no uber between 1:30-9am. I tell them that between 2am-4:30am my prices will not be fair cause I'm the only option and I know it. They don't get a card unless they're on time. But what really gets them is when I get a call in the middle of my Uber ride and I answer it professional "Clean Safe Ride" like it's not a 🎮 it' a business. I'm lucky that I have customers selling me too. This is less for you, and more for anybody that just started doing private rides
