I dropped CPC since it offered so little more than Sapphire Checking in exchange for parking an extra $75k at Chase. If they gave us a kickass CPC-only card, hopefully with a permanent grocery category, I would reconsider.
I dont see gas and grocery. Freedom and inks feed the saphires . Giving the two catogorys would change this. I dont think they would unbalance this relationship.
@@zaalb131 I think the market just isnt quite as crazy as it was immediately after COVID, back then there was a lot of stimulus money going around and people weren’t wanting to travel internationally so much, which led to a lot of bookings in the Catskills. Now people have a lot more options. But I cant complain, still getting bookings and making money
Please make an updated video on the card system with the best rewards system! Love your videos! Started with your Learn Chinese Now ones, and have gotten ito the Credit Shifu videos recently, upon getting my first credit card a couple months ago.
Hi Ben , thanks for the video, hey can you please cover a little bit about the on-going issue with Evolve bank and how this affects the financial system and fintech companies like Yotta?
CNBC has a lengthy piece on their website today on that. Definitely check it out. “How thousands of Americans got caught in fintech’s false promise and lost access to bank accounts”
Honestly, I would hope this is a do everything card. I'd like 4% on gas and groceries and 2% on everything else. Plus, gold or plat status and club membership with United. Depending on the AF of course. OH! And I want my restaurants back with PP.
My guess is at best it's a copy and paste of Sapphire's benefits like the JP Morgan Reserve, only with 1 or 2 premium benefits like the 1 free sapphire private room booking per year like Ben Hedges mentioned. Cards aimed towards high net worth individuals generally don't have high multipliers.
So if this "Emerald" card is not in the Sapphire/Freedom/Ink/Slate families, then it appears it will be in its own family; maybe a personal and a business version? If the annual fee is more than the Sapphire Reserve, it really needs to have some special perks to make it stand out. Being CPC is nothing too special, and I doubt that many CPCs will jump on a new credit card that may cost close to $1,000!
Honestly I’m thinking I’m done with Chase. Citi is more for my spending style now. With more coverage with their trifecta and nearly identical benefits. But I do love chase still. I just hope they do better sooner than later
Should note that Chase Private Client used to be $100,000, it got upped to $150,000 in Jan. 2023.
Just gonna wait until they release the Vibranium card 😏
It gets you into the Wakanda lounge
Wait until you hear about the Uru Card. I have Thanos was the first invite
Will this new card from chase
Allow access into chase lounge or sapphire lounges ?
I myself am waiting for the Insane Psychedelic Pussycat Swingers Club Card!
Transfer partner is Wakanda Airlines
GROCERY!!! GAS!!! for love of all that is holy Chase needs something for these categories besides 90 days a year with freedom/flex
fuck the gas just give us grocery please god
@@Clementineekeep your groceries, I’ll take the gas in California
@@SC_XOLOs Gas + Ralph's = Shell savings. Now have an EV but used to get like $1/gallon off by shopping at Ralph's only
@@SC_XOLOs i'll take living in a walkable city instead and save 100% on gas
Still holding out hope for a points card with a generalized 100X multiplier.
I’m holding out for Chase unobtainium

Can’t wait for the ruby
Did they skip Fire Red and Leaf Green?
Still waiting for the Premium Hyatt card.
That’s what I’ve been saying.
Will you be starting a hair style modeling channel soon?
Chase skipping Pokémon Ruby to go straight to Emerald.
Still waiting on Amex and the Titanium card but who am I kidding Amex is dead
Wasn’t Amex rumored to be releasing an “Optio” card that would fill in a space between Platinum and Centurion?
Is the Chase Ink Preferred still having its 120k bonus tomorrow?
I can’t believe that Chase is following the Pokémon naming convention; someone in that department must be a real fan of Generation 3.
69x catch-all [rumor]

I also love a good rumor. Time to come out with that premium Hyatt card now, that everyone was talking about several months ago.
Heard it was more like a business version of the reserve
Nothing... burger??? 😄
People excited over a new card that makes you spend $10K and you get 100K points which is less than $500 in value
Great job on UA-cam ❤
Any rumors of revamp of the current Sapphire reserve card benefits and perks? Losing value on it slowly
😂when they can give a bonus on Hyatt points transfer
Can’t wait for the IHG hotel review in DC!!!!!
In Gem 💎 Values sapphires are worth more than emeralds
*I love a good rumor video*
Hows the airbnb cottage business going?
Good, covering costs and making a few thousand a month in profit, but not quite as well as I hoped.
@@TheCreditShifuwhat’s been the largest cause of the discrepancy? I have my eye on an Airbnb on the pacific coast.

Oh yeah i really should cover that

I'll take Chase seriously when they come out with Chase Ruby. Also if they could just stop crashing the global economy, that would be great too.
I will be under 5/24 this month want that Ink Cash bad!! Decision Decision Decisions ~~
Good Luck with that Ink
Business card . Be glad
When I’m under 5/24
Best of Luck

Amex gold would be in trouble if the emerald card has travel 4% category and low or no membership fee.
If I’m gonna be holding private client levels of money with them, I want 5x on groceries or 2x points on rent.
Its true that Chase really needs to add a grocery category on one of its cards (not this online grocery nonsense)
