Sorry guys at 1:38 I mis spoke saying 24 months is 4 years, obviously it is 2 years, I was thinking of the 48 month rule for the bonus.
So many cards seem to be pumping the online groceries and not in store. It's disappointing.
The Hilton Surpass is great for grocery stores.
Also, tired of these expensive travel portal discount carda with coupons. No doubt WF is setting ppl up.
The travel insurance really paid off for me. I had a cruise get cancelled and the fee to change my airline ticket was $300. The Chase insurance covered it, more than playing for the card.
If it says your already approved for a credit card on the chase app but its not much.. is it a way to not take that approval and can try a different application to try to get more?
This guy can never let go of the stimulus.
1:35 - 24 months is not 4 years 😅 but thanks for this video! Great as usual!
Haha! I had to do a double take like wait what?😆
Just got approved for csp, I’m at 6/24 and still got approved. In branch application.
Yes Sir! Happy Weekend! 👍☺
The shared dining multipliers across all chase cards seem silly but remember the CSP is for international travel. Those dining and travel multipliers are great when abroad.
Can’t use any of the freedom cards to earn UR points abroad.
True freedoms have FX fees
For the sapphire rule how about the sapphire that’s only acquired through downgrading?
I own a business. What is the best card to run my expenses thru to earn free flights? Whether it be a personal card or business card. I can only use United, or American where i live
Agree about the groceries; that is why I have Savorone (and VentureX combo). I think Preferred dining 3x is good for using it abroad; I am often away in Europe. Got preferred yesterday and second bonus. I may just keep it for a while even though I have the venture.
Preffered also doesn't cover international.
@@Alhaitham195 It does!
Does anyone know if the Chase portal gives you status benefits on hotels like the Amex Fine Hotel/ Hotel Collection?
No it doesn’t, except for “The Edit” which is a hotel collection, but thats only on the Reserve I believe, not preferred
I'm new to this so am I understanding this correctly. I can transfer points from CSP to Virgin and book flights on Delta using CSP points correct?
You transfer your points to Virgin. Then you go into the Virgin website and book your flights where Delta is the travel partner so you can use your points. You can’t use the Virgin points on the Delta website but can use Virgin points for Delta planes offered in the Virgin website
Is there an affiliate program for Chase still?!?! Then YES it's worth it. 🤣
Any data point on success in applying when over 5/24?
Seen a couple comments saying they achieved success above 5/24 with in branch applications
As always, love your videos. If it were me, I would keep the Sapphire cards in the dining categories. Maybe 3x on the Preferred and 4x on the Reserve. Those are more status/entertainment cards so keeping dining makes more sense. The Unlimited is more an everyday, low key card so I would rather see that or the Flex shed theme 3x dining and pick up a 3x grocery category. I love Chase points but they definitely lack when it comes to a diversified portfolio of point earning categories.
Yes
I used the $50 hotel credit last minute. Long story short, had an unexpected reason to stay out of town, booked the room and headed to the hotel. Took about two hours for it to show up in the hotel's system.
Idk why but the thumbnail is just hilarious to me
How strict is Chase on having at least a year of credit history with them? I have about 6 months but meet all of the other requirements. Have the freedom unlimited and freedom flex
Sounds pretty good on the surface since you have already two cards with them. What’s your credit score and what are you credit limits? For CSP you need to be able to get approved for a min CL of 5k$. helpful if you have similar or higher limits already.
Not great, $1600 on the unlimited and $500 on the flex
Well, with a not great credit score (yet) and only low limits on your other cards I’d wait and be patient.
I assume your score is just young. Nothing to worry.
Ps: yes the CSP is not a good choice in your first year. You need more history.
Good luck.
A good Hyatt card that’s outdated when compared to the Green and Autograph Journey. Same applies to the CSR when compared to the Platinum or Venture X. Thanks for the info.
I order DoorDash occasionally and will be using the $50 for a one night stay in London, very worth it for me
Is the 2/30 rule for all credit cards, or just Chase cards?
12:07 I've had my Preferred for 4 years now, so does this mean that I could Downgrade it to Freedom, and sign up for Reserve, to get the sign on bonus? Would downgrading, reset the 2 year clock for applying for a new card?
You can down grade it and it doesnt appear like a new account on your credit report so has no impact on 5/24 status
I have the Sapphire Reserve for more that 4 years now, How do I reapply to get the welcome bonus again? Do I downgrade or close the card then reapply?
Yes, downgrade and then apply for a new sapphire card.
48 months from when you got the bonus last. Not the application date. Customer service can double check it if necessary.
The streaming multipliers are strong. This is lost if product changing to the reserve.
when did 24 months turn into 4 yrs?
48 months is 4 years
24months eqauals 4 years now?
Oh! shifu! It's 5 cards in 2 years! 😂
Boom!
The CSP is just a $95/yr ransom for your Chase points. If Chase offered a similar WF Autograph card, that has no AF to transfer points, everyone would cancel the CSP.
The CSP also saves you some money on DoorDash if you use that service.
3X Travel is my #1 wish for the CSP.
1:38 bro just said 24months is 4 years?!! Math is not mathing
The CSP imo needs tsa pre check global entry credit
Could you do an updated review of the Explorer quest and club cards?
Controversy aside it's still the very best midtier ttavel card on the market.......i think its still worth it for sure.
24 months = 2 years . Please fix the error
My answer: Hyatt.
Give us 3X on all groceries, you COWARDS!
AGREED!!!!
I thought the economy is doing better than what it was with the last guy in the office. People shouldn’t vote for a person just because of stimulus money 😂. You work a couple days overtime you can get that same amount of stimulus money if not more in your check 😂. Well at least I’m doing better now than before 😂
A MEGA CRAZY lunatic. Remember what the other other guy did when he was in office? Also carried out a coup!
