This episode of Until it Hertz is to answer a few questions that have come up regarding my line of work in the current pandemic.
Essentially All the COVID 19 rules apply to us plus more. From the moment you land at the airport restrictions are put in place to seperate the fifo worker form the local community and company's are moving heaven and earth to implement systems and rules to continue operating while the corona virus is around.
Working FIFO means you are not allowed to interact with the local town at all, you can not go to the shops, chemist or maccas.
Restrictions on alcohol purchases and gatherings are all the same or stricter.
Special requirements at work and traveling to work have been implimented.

Nah we were relatively close together as it was, i think its a weight distribution thing. They always like to have that section of the plane full and balanced it seems.
