This would look cooler on a Model Y SUV than a Model 3 Sporty Thing
This looks great for the phone and shelf to hold sunglasses.
Thanks for the informative video. Interesting rig, especially if you have the need to quickly add/remove accessories. If you’re in vlogging, for example, I could see this being useful to mount 3 GoPros, one for the driver, the passenger, and the road ahead.
While the lower shelf is tempting, blocking the charging pads makes that shelf a deal breaker, for me at least. I’m sure some people would like that lower shelf. Plus, I don’t want to see a bunch of crap on a shelf under the screen. That’s what a hidden tray in the console is for. My sun/eye glasses go in a nearly invisible Velcro mounted sun/eye glass cubby on the lower outside of the console, which works great for me.
For me, the one deal breaker regarding this entire system is the visible set of clips around the screen. That’s unfortunate. I’m sure many people are not that particular about those clips, and that’s ok for them. I personally strive to keep the interior of my Model Y as free from clutter as possible. Maybe the company can come up with magnetic/adhesive mount points hidden behind the screen.

The pocket at the bottom blocks phone chargers. Anyways good video as always. For mine I got a tissue holder/sunglass holder for BEHIND the screen for like $20 on Amazon and it is perfect

Always enjoy your videos, but this product is not for me. I love the minimalist design of the MY and screen so would like this product.
I prefer the swivel mount and the cleaner look without. Also I' d be worried about wear over time on the screen from the clips which if you lease is gonna cost in the end when returning the car or if owning and selling its not good to have more interior damage.

@sanjaygul8392 Mounting the phone is safer than holding it which allows your phone to be used for navigation, regular/video calls or recording. I do agree that some people should pay closer attention to driving & less to the tech in their vehicles but ultimately it's not the techs fault.
