She says citizens are embarrassed. She's just too proud to realize she's the cause of our embarrassment. She works for the citizens she tried to bully out of Council chambers.
I’m thankful the city can now see out in the open the source of our chaos on Lynchburg City Council.
Not the only time she's acted like this but its usually behind closed doors. Suprised it hasn't been caught on video before.
Seems to me the Mayor was trying to make sure the rules were followed regarding when and where press conferences can be held. What's wrong with that?
@robynsmith3805 the issue is the press was already there for the attempted meeting. This wasn't a "scheduled press conference" as referenced in the rules. This was talking to the press after the attempted meeting.

Here are the only rules governing council members outside the charter, city code, and state law:

It takes a majority vote of council to change or amend these rules, and you will see there are no rules about press conferences.
Who knew not getting picked for mayor would cause a two year tantrum 😂 Imagine getting to the end of your life and this being your contribution to the world… find a hobby and enjoy the few remaining years you have left guys..
Whoever was yelling, “Waste, fraud, and abuse” was totally obnoxious. The mayor acted like a histrionic fool.
@kimberly6123 That was most likely "CJ Jordan" aka Consuella Jordan. You can find her mug shot in Campbell County if you search the arrest records on Google. She has a history of disrupting republican campaigns and committees.
@kimberly6123 I think I know who and she's a big supporter of the mayor, and has been nothing but trouble for republican campaigns and committees. Also has a mug shot that can be googled.

The mayor was on the radio this morning. Admitted she wouldn't support a republican for other wards if it meant she couldn't still be mayor. This is what you get when a bored realtor decides to get ambitious.

Lynchburg was a good (not great) place to live. Now with these leftists and the current mayor, the city and the city council has become a crap show. Embarrassing of the council, mayor, and city staff.
