- Short video about Lynchburg. Starts with how it got it's name as well as the current statistics for the city and metro. Ends with a ride across the James into downtown and then on towards liberty University.
I enjoyed my short visit to Lynchburg. I was surprised at how big the downtown was and how nice the campus of Liberty was too. That part of town as well as the campus seem to be growing a lot. There needs to be an interstate in that area. Maybe one from Richmond to Lynchburg and then on to Roanoke. Also US Hwy 29 could be a good candidate for an upgrade. Let me know what yall think.
I moved to downtoww LYH from Los Angeles about a year ago. Its growing, but definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I'm hoping to relocate to Richmond in Shockoe Bottom or adjacent. Much more lively and walkable. Great vid!

We have so many wonderful midsize towns and cities in the Carolinas and VA! Shout out to these skylines for small cities...Greenville SC, Asheville NC, Roanoke VA!!!

Have always adored cityscapes and skylines no matter how big or small. One fascination I have is for small towns or cities that have a legit skyline. Two examples...Bartlesville OK and Yellowknife NWT Canada. Love Yellowknife's skyline. Oh and Kamloops BC what a great cityscspe for a small city. What do you guys think. Would love to visit Yellowknife and Kamloops someday.
