I love seeing these old British bikes being appreciated and ridden. Just the names take me back to my teenage years. The AJS and DOT brands have been resurrected in the UK recently, it's great to see for an old grey beard like me! Wahoo! 🇬🇧

That Triumph is a beautiful motorcycle, one that influenced my teenage years as what a motorcycle should look like.
My attraction to the Classic 350 was in part fueled by that look. I almost bought a 350 but ended up getting a 2001 Kawasaki W650 which looks a lot like that Triumph.
Another fine video. Thanks for making it!

Love the W650. Remember the first time I saw one, it was unbadged and I was amazed. Wahoo!

I love the reliability & simplicity of the single carb on the TR6R. This seat looks like original w/ custom cover. Fuel tank - 4.0 Imp. gal. Wheelbase 54.5".

Thanks for the info. That stuff can be hard to find for these older bikes. Wahoo!

I bought one brand new in 1970 from Fred Deeley’s in Vancouver BC. Started my life long love of Triumphs

Tiger was the name used for this model in the States. In the UK and Australia, they were sold as Trophy's. Same in every way.

Glad they're letting you ride some of the vintage bikes. The Bonnevilles get all of the love, but I'm partial to the single carb TR6's. So easy to tune with just one carb.

I feel sorry for the younger generation, not experiencing something like this.

It’s not a Triumph seat it’s close and that lower brace on the front fender is wrong that’s not a factory brace or that is it's not the correct brace for that year

That's the bike Steve McQueen rode in the movie "The Great Escape."
