I'd agree with you unless you start bumping up the bore, compression and cam it and of course pipes. At that point I believe it's time to go bonne twins
Nice ride. I had a 50's Triumph Terrier 150 in the 80's. The Tiger Cub was also reduced down to 150cc with a specially made 57mm block produced specifically for Bermuda in the Meriden factory to conform to our regulations. They started at around 80 british pounds back then, now restored and custom models can fetch $15,000 because up to this point we cannot import classic motorcyles and our island environment rusted most of them out. Cops had the Tiger and had a motorcycle display team back in the day. I found a picture of one jumping through a ring of fire in my garage.
Hi from Gold Coast, Australia! I have a matching numbers 68 TR6R that I’m going to rebuild and get running, looks very similar to this one as far as patina etc.. was going to repaint but you’ve inspired me to keep it original, as much as possible anyway. Keep the great content coming!
That's one sweet looking bike, with a gorgeous two tone paint color scheme. Love it's exhaust note. Looks like a bike that James Dean or Fonzarelli would own and want to ride.
Sounds amazing. I'd ditch the black handlebars though, it would have had chrome bars on it. The single carb 650's ride better than the Bonneville's in my opinion. They just seem to breath better or something. I'm a little worried you spent 10 grand fixing up a bike that's worth 7000. The Triumph market seems a bit soft right now. I hope I'm wrong and you get your money back plus some.

Had both a Tiger and a Bonny. Much preferred riding the Tiger. Loved them both!
That's the most beautiful Triumph I've ever seen and the best sounding bike too.
Old timers say these single carb models are better than the twin carb Bonneville's.

Essence of motorcycling. Ken Sr said it prefectly!
McQueen rode Tigers.....one less cable to snag !

Exactly my first bike........but I was a young kid without the knowledge to get her running right.
Awesome street bike I like the rider position on the triumph 's
Magnificant sound, it even potatoe potatoe's like a vintage harley👏👍🏆❤️
Bikes amazing. I am going to post a lot of vintage bikes to my channel now too. I did first vintage video other day 💪🏻
crazy how close my dads 69 Royal Enfield Interceptor is to this triumph, so many similar parts I wonder who copied who
I want to see Richard Nixon in a motorcycle jacket
An AMA Champ in the Oval Office, bet he got the motorcycle vote! 😀
My dad had on of these !
