I really liked Quintus, his laugh was contagious and he actually did have a kinda playful way about his character. I really loved his interactions and treatment towards Matthew, he understood Matthew. “You’re so wonderfully, odd” was one of my favorite lines, but it wasn’t the words that made it my favorite, it was Brandon as Quintus who did.

I love the dichotomy between Brandon and Quintas. They are complete opposites, save for the charisma. It’s genuinely incredible to see such a humble and kind young man like Brandon step into the role of such a narcissistic manipulator like Quintas because it’s such a leap in character. What a talented actor!

Love the pink jacket; I can see people in the camera crew saying, "YOU gonna tell him? I'M not gonna tell him..." Seriously, I hope the character of Quintus shows up again before the series is finished -- I've been enjoying Potter's performance.
It still amazes me how much Brandon reminds me of the actor, John Delancie. It's mainly his voice and the way he speaks.
That said, I think that THE CHOSEN fills a huge vacuum in the media world as well as the world at large. As Brandon stated, you don't have to be Christian to appeal to people. It does bring the Message of the Gospels to others who might not be able to hear it. ❤

Interesting commentary. Ten years ago it started to look like there would be a content shortage, especially in light of some content being withheld due to cost of residuals. This content, basically the Christian's "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead" is fascinating. Glad Potter is part of it!

It's simply well done. That's it. Like Breaking Bad. Sopranos. Curb Your Enthusiasm. It is well done. And doing something truly great in television or movies is hard and uncommon with all the moving pieces and money issues:- The writing is great. The acting is great. The casting is great. The sets are great. And it is based on a book! And even though it is the bible...it is still a book. That is an advantage for character development, story, and for details and intricacies. And you add the human portrait of Jesus on top of that, and you get a powder keg of wonderful richness. And there is so much to learn from it and it does not matter if you are religious yourself or not: it is motivational and informative. We all want to learn. We all want to grow.
His voice is very similar to John de Lancie who played 'Q' in Star Trek TNG. Very intriguing voice.

You know, you can say that a character is fictional, but how do we know? I'm sure there were jerks like Quintus- just as I'm positive that not every word spoken between the disciples and/or the disciples and Jesus were written down- there is no way they could have dine that. What was written and the precious words we have are true- but lots of things that were done/said just weren't recorded- but, the the Jewish leaders wrote down copious & specific amounts of details dealing with people doing/saying 'wrong' things- the law breakers and suspicious. So we do have some other info about the folks who were 'real' in The Bible. I often am curious about the details they had concerning the disciples and Jesus...would be cool to get to read it. ❤

Brandon is a very professional actor, but he is so much fun as Quintus. I love how he portays his character. He is the guy you love to hate, so to speak. I am a huge fan of The Chosen, and i think that like all the other fantastic actors, Brandon makes his character come to life in the exact perfect way that makes the show so cohesive.
