I think so!!!
I was led back to Jesus Christ of Nazareth through Chosen and I knew Jesus was in this because I felt His power when He introduced himself to Simon I am Jesus!!! Jesus used you to save me ! Thank you so very much ❤
I watched this show because I saw a review by two Franciscan priests and wanted to know more.
Jonathan's portrayal of Jesus reminded me of the Jesus I had always known in my heart since childhood. He brought Jesus back to me and all the worldly distractions no longer mattered. I was a born again Catholic and have become devout in my faith. It means everything to me. The gift of the sacraments and the gift of Him is my world
“None of us are worthy” but we are loved unconditionally. Keep up your beautiful and faithful journey Jonathan 🙏🩵
“The Chosen” has ignited my spiritual renewal and helped me go deeper into the meaning of John 3:16!
It is awesome to see God use this show to bring people to Him. Jonathan has done an excellent job in his portrayal of our Christ!! Praying that many around the world will be brought to faith in Christ!! 🙏
A very humble actor, Jonathan Roumie, is a wonderful person to watch portraying Yeshua.
Pray for Jonathan. It moved me so much when he told how hard it was to say Jesus words, he didn't feel worthy. Bless him Father for he is truly your man, your servant who can lead many to you God our Father.
I had the same experience as Dan, being so overwhelmed by the humanity of Christ in a way I never experienced. I would weep during the episodes because of this.
I have been struck of his humanity as Jesus. I long for Jesus more and more.
When Jesus delivered Mary Magdalene. I sobbed. It became so real.
I saw this interview once before and enjoyed it even more again. Jonathan is so easy to listen to even when he is not playing Jesus. He is humble and caring and compassionate about his faith and his role in the Chosen. God Bless you Jonathan as He has by choosing you to portray His son Jesus Christ in this amazing series. Praying for you always.❤🙏🌹
Such a beautiful project definitely led by the Holy Spirit
Hands down the best interview yet with Jonathan ~ Interviewers who are truly walking with The Lord asking different questions that allowed Jonathan to respond from a deeper place. Thank you! Praise God! 🙌🙌🙌♥♥♥🙌🙌🙌
I agree completely. Best interview I have seen to date. Wonderful depth. Thank you to all.
"Reignited" is the perfect word to use for myself in terms of how The Chosen has impacted me. I say I am a devout Catholic, but, in terms of my church involvement I really only attend mass. The Chosen has changed my whole trajectory about my relationship with Christ.
BTW If you are not Catholic you don't know what you are missing. 😊 ❤️🔥🙏
I’ve felt nothing but the POWER of Jesus Christ through you every word and I am forever grateful for you and all of the chisen
Thank you. As an Ignatian Spiritual Director, I often feel unworthy and “who am I” …but every time those thoughts/feelings pop up, the Holy Spirit gently reminds me -God is with us…. Thank you for affirming the wonder of God with us.
The Chosen deepened my faith. ❤
Love you Jonathan 🙏🏻♥️🕊️ and both of you also!!
I wanted to share that I was one of the Catholics praying with JR during the shutdown and many times my intentions was praying for Dan when he was so sick in the hospital.. Steph was in agony my heart was broken ..since then my prayer warrior level reached heights that I will never turn back from. Thank you!! One Big Family!! The body of Christ! Oh and add Father Chris and ALL The Marians. Father Richard Heilman..so so many to pray with during that time ♥️♥️♥️ The group “Catholics Who Love The Chosen” started 4 years ago. Come join us ♥️
There is not a day that I don’t pray for Jonathan and The Chosen Family. I’m an older lady, but still have such a love for Our God Almighty. I keep finding/ feelings in my brain,” pray for The Chosen!!” And I stop what I’m doing and immediately pray. Sometimes, I send messages to my daughter, Robyn, to pray. And she’s a devout Christian.
It came out at perfect timing for me. Thank you Lord. Thank you Johnathan
Hail Holy Queen! Thank you so much for this interview and the work you are all doing. I just started a arching The Chosen this weekend 😂 I think in general Catholics are very apprehensive of allowing a things in our brains that are not catholic. When I started to hear that Johnathon was catholic and then started understanding the connection of Angel studios is when I started to “trust” it. I’m soooo grateful for the bridging you are doing w Catholics and Protestants. So glad to hear Protestants are picking up rosary beads ❤❤
Wow! I can’t believe that you didn’t just do a remote but he is just sitting there with you.
Great interview. Such a pure heart for God. Inspirational
The Chosen has brought me and my daughter so much closer to Jesus and has brought the Gospels to life in a new way. I am so grateful for this series and Jonathan's depiction of our Savior (& his Hallow recordings too!). I'm going to see season 4 this Saturday with a group of sisters in Christ and will go again with my daughter in a few weeks. I am really looking forward to it!! ❤️🔥🙏🏼😇
Dan nailed it, that’s how it has affected me.
Ilove wacthing Chosen again &again
“Your faith is beautiful”. He is the Lover of our soul….thanks for sharing this interview…
The same happened to me. I fell in love with Jesus all over again, because of Jonathan’s portrayal .
And it gave me back the NEED to read my bible.
I know its all God work and He is using Jonathan to share his story but when I pray, i picture Jonathan as Jesus. The Chosen is so impactful and i cant get enough of it.
3:00 PM CST I love the term “born again Catholic”. I relate to that description. ♥️
As entrevistas com o Jonathan sempre me surpreendem. Seu trabalho é lindo e admirável. É nítido a ação do Espírito Santo em sua vida. Que Jesus continue te iluminando! 🙏❤🥰
The energy emminating from this show was so gentle and beautiful. 🤍
I was also led back to Jesus. My story is similar to yours. Jonathan has come to be the number one person I love to follow!
This is so very exciting. Happy for the exposure of this ministry, Dan. ❤
Thank Lord Jesus 🙏🏻thank you Jonathan
Thank you, Dan. Yes, we are all called to love Him and follow Him. Following you with love and prayers for your ministry and keep up the great work. Blessing and support from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤❤❤
Thank you for this lovely humble interview! May Our Lady always be a comfort to you in all you do.
I love this down to earth interview, thank you.
Thank You
Wonderful! Thank you for doing this…
Hello everyone. My first time watching your show. I'm in my late 60s. Only went to church on sundays until I was like 7or 8 . After that we as kids never went again when mom remarried. As a teen, like 16 I got into drinking and drugs. Got sober in 1991 when I did something awful I physically hurt a person. That's way I stopped drugs and booze. But when the Chosen showed up on my newsfeed on fb . Let me tell you. I was hooked. I went a bought a bible. Rewatch every Episode multiple times and reading my bible thank you to Dallas Jenkins The Chosen.
God be praised! That's awesome brother. Thanks for sharing that and for watching the channel. If you want to go deeper we did a free series on mental prayer called Into the Deep - you can check it out here: bit.ly/3SMmKVN
We will keep you in our prayers brother, God bless you!
Inspiring interview! ❤
AMEN.
Great interview such Hearts of Gold ✨💛💛💛

Great interview! Whose relic is front of Jonathan?

Lovely interview 🍁 ❤
Another wonderful interview. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for this wonderful and deeply spiritual interview. Bless you all!

Beautiful interview ❤ Where does this amazing painting with a pigeon come from?
That’s the Holy Spirit as a dove. And is a replica of a stained glass window at the Vatican.
What was the name of the writer referenced-Teresa Vanilo?
When was this wonderful episode recorded.
2 February 2024. Most of the time you will find the recording date in the “Description” section.
I think it’s a repost. Interview early in the filming, reposted recently. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense to reference ‘episode 3’ like it’s the only one.
❤
The Chosen was masterfully done in Season one but in Season two it seemed to be losing the plot and by season three I had to quit. I wonder if Jonathan Roumie ever objects to Dallas Jenkins’ interpretation of the gospels? His portrayal of Jesus is the best I’ve ever seen.
If you rewatch the seasons again, you will see much of what you missed the first time. It really blends them all together. Season 4 is awesome by the way.
Thank You
