- Nick Shakoour plays Zebedee in the hit show "The Chosen" and had a life-changing encounter with God at the beginning of Season 3 that altered the direction of his career. Now he's on a path to make sure everyone he meets can hear the gospel.
I am so glad Nick knows Jesus in real life. My prayer would be for all the cast to know Jesus and serve him. I really want to see Shaharr get saved.😊
I will say, if you've watched Season 4, there's something different about the look in Shahar's eye. It's not just because Peter is evolving, but he as Shahar...looks different. :) I think he and Paras (Matthew) are close!!!!
As an Israeli citizen and Jewish, I want to believe that he has had his family and friends back home on his mind. However, we don't know what is in his heart as far as Christ. Let's pray that Our Lord will be with him during this awful war.

Can't imagine another actor that could give the character of Zeebedee the realism of a father whose sons have been called by Jesus. You are phenomenal and I am so eager to see you in Season 4.❤🙏✝️

I love Nick’s portrayal of Zebedee. His own personal story is beautiful. His love of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit shines brightly and is a wonderful gift for the world.

And he's such an awesome Zebedee!!!! I amazed at how God orchestrated it, the two job supervisors saying the exact same thing. But come to think of it, God is doing this for every single one of us in the world, He is always pursuing each of us to bring us to Him. I've heard so many testimonies and people keep on saying, they realize God was always actively pursuing them. I'm sure if each of us saved or unsaved stop and really think of it, we can see God working in our lives protection, provision etc

I so enjoy watching all Nick Shakoour's interviews about his faith explosion. Having been someone who has watched the Chosen from the time when Dallas was making clips on UA-cam about the early problems, and sharing requests for prayers, I remember one of the first interviews Nick had posted on UA-cam. It made me sad. He spoke about getting the part, but being really confused why he was hired to play a 55 year old when he had auditioned for one of the apostles - ie not what he expected or wanted. Nick then spoke about how he decided to put humour into Zebedee since it was a joke to have been cast as the old man, and that somehow that was working. To me Nick sounded jaded and sarcastic - maybe since I had long ago given up my own acting career search and would have given my all at the time to have been cast in any part - and here he was making light of it all. What a thrill it has been to see that change! @NickShakoour

When Nick was talking about the guilded cage and the other image of the road, all i thought was the guilded cage was a prison for his soul and the road would bring his soul to freedom. The road did bring his soul to freedom, the freedom if having God in his life. Nick, you have been blessed.

Your story is the answer for all of us. We all need Jesus, the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the presence of our Creator in our lives. For me, the key to your story is "surrender." You were given choices, and each time, you chose to surrender your life to the Creator.

Thx so much to the host for pointing out the difference between those who 'say' they're Christian vs. those who 'are' Christian. So much of the negativity toward Christianity, seems to me, comes from media and others who don't understand the distinction.
The don't believe in "slain in the spirit," conversion, but a more open acceptance of other Believers.

Nick, you have been given a mantel that God is going to use in huge ways. It is evident on set when you mention His name - your smile, tone of voice, demeanor - you have been "chosen" to bring thousands to their Savior because there are so many that are like you were - opposed to the religion of man and hungry to fill the void that only their creator can fill!!!

Wow just amazing! Everyday I pray every single sinner and Jon believers accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There are no words to describe what a. Relationship with him is like. I too use to look at Christians who are on fire for the Lord as kind of crazy but now I am one and I am so grateful for his mercy and grace and for him opening my eyes and heart. I can’t imagine life without him.

You know, and I'll tell you what you are Zebedee is one of my favorite characters in the show. I just love Zeb and when he's sitting there at the dinner table. And he's doing this story to his kids. I'm thinking to myself. He could be really good in kids shows. He has the best voice for it. And now I find out he actually does. Do kids shows he's just very good at speaking in? Not not to mind you. He is very handsome. But anyway, that's neither here nor there. I just had to say that love Zeb the character. I love this. Sky and he's amazing.

17:25 this is how I felt waking up from my life saving surgery. Like electricity going up my feet and around my entire body and I took a deep breath and started bawling because I hadn’t realized I wasn’t breathing to my fullest. It felt like my soul was healed.
