I think 04 was a split year on the floating gen 4 rods. I got the same in my truck. Should be a good running lawnmower engine when you done!🤣🤣

Great job brother!!!! I am working on my first swap. Ls3/6L90E in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Not mynfirst engine tho. I started making videos for my grandkids and teaching some of them as well. I am glad my next generation is trying to get into cars as well. I am proud of them. My grand daughter wants to learn as well. ( grandpa smiling). Your engine is going ro run great brother.

I have a couple people with Vics wanting to Ls swap them. The guy at the Chevy dealership next to me got real excited when I told him what I was doing. He has a Vic and wants to as well. The whole dealership is going on about my swap. They want me to bring it to the dealership once I get it running. I said deal. Lol

I am using the Holley Blackheart motor mount conversion plates. They mount to the block and the original 4.6l 2v mounts drop the Ls right back into the same spot as the 4.6. Then I found cheaper ones lol. But either way you don't have to make mounts for the swap. Maybe that will help him make up his mind. A guy that does Ls Vic swaps a lot says with a 4L80 trans the drive shaft is 55 inches. I was like dam that helps roflmfao

That cam sounds almost identical to a BTR stg 3 truck cam. It should run well.

@@CCAutoWorks I think it's going run just fine. I have a 214/222 in my 6L and it's way too small for my taste. The cam going in my LQ9 is a 228/236. Don't get Froggy in here, he'll tell you that unless it sounds like a hit and miss engine - it's too small. 🤣
@@bluecollarhotrods9781 228/236 is there stage 4 truck I've thought about putting it in a lq4 with 706 heads I thought the truck I've seen on your channel had the chupacabra
@@CCAutoWorks it does, I tried 862 heads and that cam. It's weak. I'm building an LQ9 for the truck with ported heads, the 228/236 .600" lift, 115 LSA. FAST LSXRT intake, etc.

Yea. Just having a problem with the #1 #3 cyl not coming up to temp like the rest. I have check coils,plugs,injectors, harness. So ima pull the cover off and check and see if the rod is bent or rockers are bad
Hopefully it will sound great unlike the Chevy we test drove.... 😅
I hope it runs better anyway
