It's Deep Rock Vampire Survivors, and that is a terrifyingly effective blend of addiction if you're a fan of both games (Like me) And od course it works on the steam deck, because i needed yet another PORTABLE addiction.
HoloCure spoiled me. I did not at all enjoy the first few games of drgs. the difficulty seemed whack and the mechanic to level up weapons to unlock overclock was tedious. I hated doing "doomed runs" that was just to farm resources or level up a weapon. Almost refunded it but decided to stick with it. After 5 hours i finally beat the dive with scout. after that, only took my two tries to beat it with gunner. I realised, contrary to my instinct, i should be ignoring the bugs and mining minerals and doing te secondary objective instead. kite the swarm around the map and eventually try to make a loop where you can vacuum up the xp left behind. Overall opinion: good game if you're a fan of drg, worth the (low) price. good: mining and the swarm mechanic adds a layer of complexity bad: lackluster upgrades, resupply reward not very good (imo should reload all weapons and maybe heal a little too), I felt rushed through the stages and the moment i felt like a god the level was over.
Yeah when I was talking live while playing but had my mic on mute I was saying that I wish there was some kind of active aiming or perk that allowed me to target things manually
Finally, a review that doesn't give a weird score to scale it.
Good stuff 👍
Lol thanks! you like the game too?
@@brandinorules not yet, was planning to, was looking for videos about it, you have convinced me, so thank you
Glad to see ghost ship is branching out into new styles of games. It looks really fun
feels weird to play DRG from a different perspective!

It feels good to be a greenbeard once again😂
i like it but its definitely missing a lot of what makes drg good like the different mission types
yeah as I play it more and more I can see that it wont have the same level of replayablity as good ole DRG
